I'll second the Lidl Garden Peas, 99p for 1KG.
  • I always buy Birds Eye as I have found other makes do not taste as nice, but after reading this thread I will give the Mr T and Aldi petit pois a go.

Birds Eye for me too, but at a pinch Sainsbury's frozen British peas are quite good.

I'll have to try the Aunt Bessie's ones if on offer or using a coupon.
Just finished 4 pack of Aunt Bessie's peas and sweetcorn mixed and they were excellent quality (bought on offer with coupons).

Lidl garen peas very good. Aldi petit pois bette if not a tad pricier. Love birds eye but they have to be on offer before i will buy. Mostly aldi's these days - DS1 only likes petit pois (the other 4 of us will eat either garden or petit pois!).
    3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

well thank you all for your responses,it been an interesting read.
I shall have to be brave and try a couple of other makes.
I think costco and tescos first,it i don't like them, then turning them into soup with some bacon sounds good!
if all all else fails i shall stick with my birds eye!
