I also phoned a couple of places about altering the curtains, neither was very keen to do the job so it looks like I will have to get new, so we had a trip to Dunelm to see what thay have, I need to re-measure the windows before I order them, we can do without curtains in the living toom for a few weeks if we have to. The bedroom curtains are ok, so no problem there.

Do you have a T J Hughes near you Csarina? They have some good bargains in at the moment for curtains also Boyes are very reasonable.

    Hope this helps.

Kyle - DGS1 had a haircut thing at hairdresser when a bit younger. SIL showed him Daddy doing hair with clippers, making it fun! He then did DGS1 with a No 4 or 5, saying it would tickle. DD tidied up straggly bits. DGS1 now goes to the big man's hairdresser with Daddy quite happily. About to embark on round two! DGS2 has the most gorgeous white blond hair which goes into lovely curls but now needing to look like a wee boy rather than baby (2nd birthday a month away). Wouldn't be surprised if they have the same probs with him - he is a very single minded little B!!! (but I totally love him to bits!!!)

    Hi penny-P

Totally agree with donny-gal, I really think you have to be more forceful. To have been left in that situation is awful, after the money you shelled out. Glad she has offered to draft you something.

Thanks for replying to my pm. I now know the fuller picture. You are so brave having to cope with everything - lots of love and hugs.

Quite tired being Friday and just really getting back into swing of things at work. Have told DD etc that I am having this weekend totally to myself after last weekend's sicks, 2 sleeps etc!

Love and hugs to you all.

Some new posts since I started to reply. Yes, agree that you should send any complaint recorded delivery and make sure you keep copies of absolutely everything!

I was always told to do both, as even if they receive it doesn't mean they read it.

My DS1 is a nightmare for getting anything cut, hair, nails etc. We have found a barbers about 10 miles away that is worth the travel, trust me! The girls there are great, one especially who has a neice with special needs like my sons, she's very patient and understanding, however I do take him in at quieter times so it's quiet, and noone thinks we're trying to kill him. It used to take 3-4 hours at home to do his hair, have had neighbours who aren't even in joining houses hear him scream and call to make sure he's ok (we had every window and door closed he's just so loud!). They usually have him out in 20 minutes. DS2 thankfully isn't quite as bad bt same lady does his now aswell.

Csarina have you tried eBay for curtains, and https://www.24studio.co.uk a friend just got some nice ones from both, she's just moved.

My complaint letters are usually good, was told by lecturer on creative writing course I was too good at it :rotfl: must be well practised. Pleased DG has had a go, I would go along same lines, stop being so nice PP!! They messed you about end of!
