£1000 in Sirius minerals (sxx)
Complete gamble on them actually being allowed to dig under the Yorkshire moors to get out and sell the billions ££££ worth of pot ash for use as fertiliser.
I like this bet more than most miners because its not a case of "if there is anything of value down there" we already know there is tonnes of value down there, just have to get the green light.0 -
sou arm and blvn to add to the 19 stocks in the sipp portfolio for a bit of excitement. Have been busy in the past couple of weeks trading rather than investing as had 40k to make up after taking hits on coop bonds. Sold them and also all other bonds of that type. Done it anyway and tbh like being back to trading, I have targets for most of the stocks. Bought the major oils (whoops NOT oils, miners) on the 10th july and just sitting tight now waiting for ukx to go up and clear resistance. Diversified portfolio0

It's a new holding - a friend in the TV business recommended them as the feeling is that the court case should go their way.0 -
I bought a little investment fund thats starting, Craven House Capital (CRV). Currently selling for 0.25p but constantly issuing new shares for 1.25p. No brainer really.Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.0

Sounds like Beowulf, they got good deposits in theory
Wish I'd taken SXX over SKR, both have definite deposits unfortunately still not simple or certain

[skr went up 15% today which is nothing, i thought it might bounce but its still weak probably)0 -

Well shares down today because of AMEC kicking up a fuss, I have to take this on the cynical side and say that since they are competition their "environmental concerns" are a load of bull and they just want to throw a spanner in the works out of spite.0 -
Followed these since the thread 'Ten bagger' a while back, bought lots on the dip to 11p, and just topped up on todays RNS.
Been lots of hype before about this share, but I think the bottom was hit, legal dispute resolved (& money recovered), cash in bank, no borrowings, big acreage, shale prospects, limited free shares in circulation, seen a shift in focus in recent months onto drilling/production again..
Only concern is company being taken private.0 -
I needed to balance the portfolio and wanted to get out of zero earning cash so today added RB. and BG. and that leaves the portfolio as 52% defensive and 23% cyclical with about 25% sensitives including energy. I feel that is ok re safety and being able to take advantage when ukx decides to break through 6600, whenever that might be
I think I`ll be putting stop losses on the miners in a while, charts look good0 -

and it's on AIM, just look at the mess
sefton resources is in, it's disgraceful how the board can blatantly lie to investors and get away with it, only on AIM
Sefton Resources releases RNS giving certain production numbers, issues a placing and then soon after lets the market know that the output numbers were incorrect0 -
I don't know that why you choose athe Amara instead of Anglo pacific. I recently joined it and satisfied from it.0
