I agree that a number of helpers wouldn't work, but if one person can help her out then it might work.
It is a kind idea to try and make this work for the OP but is any one going to be prepared to commit to doing this for the next 20 years because that's how long the puppy could live.

Painful though it is for the OP the puppy needs re-homing with someone who can take proper care of him/her.

And did the breeder do a house check???????(Sorry if already mentioned but can't read all posts as on mobile),and check the new owner situation .....this also highlights idiots who sell their dogs to anyone 4 a buck.
Not meaning that nasty to OP...but surely it would have been clear that this girl was very 'green' about owning a dog. The breeder is an !!!!****
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

OP said the dog does not come from a breeder as we undertand breeders so the mum's owner obviously was breeding for the money with no concern about where the pups end up.

Nightime walk is ok with a furbabe the size of my Zara (she turn into a monster when it's dark and is ready to kill anyone coming within 100 metres of her mum - so on the lead th that time, day time she is everyone's friends but after dark she is something else). BUt walking a tiney dog by yourself late at night in the dark... nahhhhh

RacyRed - I can see you are trying to help OP out but... this poor dog needs another home as any solution is going to be a temporary one...

To be fair to the OP, she didn't want to ask for help on here, I'm the one who persuaded her to try asking before rehoming the pup.

Perhaps you then can encourage the OP to do the right thing, this puppy deseves better don't you agree?

Stranger in homes looking after someone puppy? no this isnt the way to go is it,only one thing can help this OP and thats to see sense and rehome.

Could OP turn the situation totally on its head?

Re-home pup to someone who lives near by.

Then OP becomes the dog walker for the new owner, and can walk pup before she goes to work.

Could be quite useful for the new owner due to OPs working hours she could do a lunchtime walk for them.

That way still having regular contact with pup but not having the stress of worrying about pup while they are at work

    Thanks 4 info g/ready on that .
The more I have managed to read of this it iss sad but true that the little dude shud be rehomed, these r the formative weeks 4 a dogs learning and consistancy is deffo preferable. My last dog had 7 owners b 4 me(I got him at 10 months) and he ended up very clingy to me,I mean overly clingy, which isn't good when a dog has to interact with other people and animals. What a sad situation from the ****** start 4 the little thing!
