    Ok good sounds like ginjim is up and running well down but I don't understand how to run the second set of commands can someone type it out line by line, do I type it all in at once on the run screen, I tried but it came up with 'incorrect command' don't know what to do

    start, run, type cmd click ok

    you get a black screen

    then type the rest exactly as typed in the black screen

    click start, then click run
    type in cmd
    then dos comes up
    type this in
    ipconfig /all >c:\1.txt
    enter
    then type this in
    notepad c:\1.txt\
    after that copy and paste

    ipconfig/all

    but it wouldn't do anything when I typed this...

    c:\1.txtnotepadc:\1.txt

    can anyone deduce anything from the stuff below, took me ages to work out how to highlight it and paste it thanks

    Well as you can see from the list pasted below I still don't seem to be able to get it to do anything and the sites still don't load, I'm out of my depth here HELP
