    Ooooh I clicked on that link and got google, but then I could get google before. Is DNS to do with internet explorer do you think if I downloaded another browser it would work? I tried OPERA browser but wouldn't load proflowers and it was rubbish.

    i'm wireless on this computer via modem via wireless router
    i had webpages yesterday but then went off last night

    Sorry, just realised that there are two posters in this thread with similar problems. Try Control Panel, Network Connections, Highlight your Wireless device, Change settings of this device, Highlight TCP/IP then Properties. Have you got Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically boxes checked?

    Is that via a USB cable or Ethernet cable? Your problem may be a Virgin network problem. It would be interesting to see if someone else on Virgin can get those sites to load.

    It may be worth trying to flush your DNS cache
    Go to start > run
    then type cmd
    in the command prompt window type the following:
    ipconfig /flushdns

    start, run cmd
    ipconfig /all >c:\1.txt
    notepad c:\1.txt

    copy and paste here

    sorry i cant see anywhere how i can change ip address automatically or obtain dns
