I can't remember what we did last anniversary. :o and it fell on a Saturday too, so we wouldn't have even been at work, but the year before is memorable because DH booked us both in for a spa day at Centre parcs. When a male member of staff spotted DH, who was the only male guest there he asked him if he'd been before and DH replied.
'No mate, but it's our wedding anniversary and I want to watch England playing tonight in the World Cup'

We got complimentary champagne and chocolates after that and a free treatment. :D

We always celebrate the anniversary of the day we met because it's my husband's birthday! This year we had a lovely meal at a local Italian and Mexican restaurant. We also celebrate the anniversary of the day we got together. Our first wedding anniversary is in November this year and we're having a belated honeymoon!

Ohhh, I'm in Sheffield and would like to know where I can find this Italian Mexican restaurant? :)

Belated reply - no pressies, the experience is all. Though it's not necessarily ON the day of our anniversary. We don't really have time or money to go out so we try to keep eye out on what's on theatre/music wise and go for it. If we're feeling really flush may have a kebab beforehand!

    Have a wonderful 2nd annivarsary!

more like what didn't she do, lie, steal, get in so much trouble it involved more than one police force (more than once, so often in fact we knew the police officers by name on sight) and got her name all over the papers. She also faked a very serious medical issue on her brother's birthday, then ran from the hospital when they sussed she was lying. ..... she's been given so much help its unbelieveable and makes each person helping think everyone else has the problem until she can't help herself. Hence OH and I have had enough and decided after years of this its time for us.

We went to Zante for a week for our first anniversary & for our second Disneyland! It's sort of become a tradition to make it our holiday week!

T'was a milestone last year so we did two nights in a coaching inn in Stamford. Visited Burghley House. We also had a family dinner out at a restaurant.

This year (26th) probably nothing. We definitely don't do cards.
