I stood outside the front door and had a pizza box.

He opened it to find a guide to Rome and flight tickets etc for a long weekend there.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....
  • I think we've been together too long. We never realise it's our anniversary until the card arrives from my friend who was our matron of honour.

5th wedding anniversary last year; went for sushi. 10 years together last month; got Lebanese take away that I struggled to eat with my stupid morning sickness.

We`ve just come back from 3 days in London plus a show - but it was our Ruby Anniversary
Usually we have a special meal x
  • We try to have an 'experience' - usually theatre/music, which may stretch us (not much cash) but not break us!
  • Do you do presents or gifts, or it the doing something on the day classed as that?

Weekend in a stunning B&B in the Yorkshire dales, with a very private hot tub, lots of lovely walks, pub lunches and sampling real ales.

Do you have a link please? it sounds just what I am looking for.

We went to Venice for three days, it was a big anniversary though.
  • Absolutely burger all! Our anniversary is a couple of weeks before Xmas and I'm always too stressed out. But I'm not romantic and would just DIE if my hubby tried the candle-lit dinner, soft music scenario! He did try this once and he's never repeated it (thank God).

Not much help OP - sorry!!
