Afternoon all,
Another one with rain here hoping it clears this afternoon as I have some seedlings to pot on and after yesterdays feast of beef, chocolate and wine I am in need of some fresh air.
Julie thanks for this weeks thread and for the BH list all done once I pot on the seedlings.:j
I need to tackle DD2 bedroom this week and have a good fling, DD1 off to Manchester with a friends family for a few days so will have a go in her room as well.;)
Lunch and then garden.0 -
Ventured out during a break in the rain to walk the dogs. Little white one was black by the time we got back so had to have a bath. Obviously, I've now had to clean the bathroom again, and the floors again where the others walked mud in. WM back on now with towels, blankets and my very dirty jacket. I am exhausted!Spend less now, work less later.0

Happy Easter Monday everyone:j
Been very lazy all morning ie: slept in:D
Julie lists for today and Friday have both been very gentle - I'm suspecting you've got a lot of hard work in store for us for the rest of the week _pale_ Mind you my humble abode definitely needs some tlc:eek:
Plans for the rest of the day:
- do list as instructed
- finally make frog list .. honest, i promise. Making the list is now a frog in itself:o
- persuade OH to take me to the bottle bank - need to recycle and still not allowed to drive or lift heavy stuff:mad:
- make shepherd's pie for dinner
- meal plan for the week

Have a good bank holiday folks0 -
Afternoon all
I'm in but working to my own lists again, I just like to read what everyone else is doing and it keeps me going.
Raining here too, of course.
Computer is playing up, I suspect I need to uninstall AVG and reinstall it but I'm scared. I'm rubbish at technology. So far I've kept it going by restarting.....I feel a bit sick just thinking about it.
I'd like to go out for a walk but it seems silly in this weather, maybe there will be a break later. DH is watching motoGP. Dull (in my opinion!).0 -
Nice relaxing bank holiday here in the rain. Took OH to Sains and mostly stopped him buying unnecessaries.
Have completed son 2's bedroom shift around. Now will have to face the modest list for today, and am even feeling too lazy for that.
Also got one item listed on eBay. Used to feel pressure to put items on at the "best" time, ie weekend evenings I believe, but now find it works better if you just do one thing at a time, and just get it listed whenever you can. That could be my Tip of the Week.Motto for 2013: GET MORE DONE! AGAIN
Do an hour a day on my BOOK! Also, lose weight. And be nicer0 -
Poor doogie's been scrapping like mad, fluff everywhere, cant find any evidence of fleas but decided to go out and get more frontline. A 4 mile round trip took over an hour as there are roadworks in/out of town. Have walked her since I got back and like Jazee then had to bath her. That done she's had a cuddle dry and is back in clean bedding and still scrapping, frontline to do immediately she's dry, poor little mite. Just hope it works.
So bathroom now done but no jam making, ironing or baking which I wanted or need to do so better have a cuppa, think about whats for tea and then do some more. I knew there'd be pay back for doing nothing all my hols.
Checking my listy looks like I'm going to be in the kitchen from now on apart from ironing work stuffsMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Am I the only Flylady who didn't eat any choc over the weekend?:D
Off to a good start this week, as Mr LW has kindly done the top of the fridge/freezer, the cooker (it's an ancient built-in one with a top level with the top of the fridge/freezer; the hob is separate), and the top of the wall cupboard, all of which I can't reach properly, even standing on the step-stool.:A
Flying today has also included giving Jasper's "feathery" bits a good brush (thereby removing the bits of the outdoors he brought in with him after his walk) and he has also decluttered a Rodeo Stick, which he tells me was delicious.;)
I shall be sad to see him go home tomorrow; but we have Lucy Labrador to look forward to - she'll be arriving on Sunday 22nd April, so we have 12 days dogless. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
