Good morning ladies. Thanks for the nice BH list Juliejim.

It's wet and raining in Essex - is there anyone who isn't under a raincloud?

We had a nice Easter Sunday. Turkey and the inlaws for lunch. Drunk loads of wine and the kids ate their own body weight in chocolate. I've been off the choc for Lent and have no desire to eat it now. DH bought me a Hotel Chocolat egg - it's so pretty I just look at it and feel happy!

Downstairs is nice and tidy. We spent Saturday mucking out the littlies room. 5 bags to the tip and 3 bags of outgrown clothes dispatched to new owners via freecycle. It looks so much better. Today I need to sort out the build up of clothes in our bedroom. It looks like a jumble sale. I have loads of ironing to do and must nag DS2 to keep on top of his washing because he's going away for the weekend on Thursday.

I hope everyone has a lovely day

    :)

Thanks for the list Juliejim, I will try and post more (and do more) this week.

First job though is to clear away the mess that is the kitchen - I got bored after the 3rd DW full yesterday and a lot of my decent plates are hand wash only. WM is on already, but I have to do five beds worth and iron my work stuff.

Thanks for the new list juliejim - I should be able to manage that!

Might manage a trip to B&Q later to get sandpaper etc to start decorating the bathroom - just a freshen up - it needs it!

Dogs are still KO'd after their mega walk yesterday - just as well they don't have to work for their living! :rotfl:

Off for a shower then start on the list - back to work tomorrow :(

Hope everyone has a good day - looks like we will all get the rain today - TD will get a hammering I think! :)

    Morning people

As promised here I am, ready for action :D

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a lovely lazy day.

Welcome Claire and anyone else new and hello to those I haven't 'seen' for a while.

Big thanks to juliejim for the lists x

Do 2 items from your frog list that you didn't do last week

Enjoy your Bank Holiday with your family.

All do-able, although I need to re-write my frog list. Also need to meal plan. My washer dryer is poorly and the nice washer dryer doctor isn't coming until Wednesday so it's folding dry stuff and making sure the dirty laundry is well squashed down in the basket and doesn't make a bid for freedom

My family have left me alone this bank holiday - DS on way to Devon with 11 friends for a mini holiday and DD on way into London with friends to be in the audience of some channel 4 show recording. So, I am alone all day... :(

Oh no, sorry, that should be: So, I am alone all day!! :j:T:dance::dance:_party__party_:dance::dance::T:j

Back later, have a good day all.

Morning all. Today's list is done. Have also done a cooked breakfast for the family and have a load in the WM. Dogs not walked yet as its pouring with rain and neither me or the dogs like to get wet. Have a good day.

  • Downstairs loo S&S done, DW loaded & set off, scrambled egg on toast scoffed & another coffee made. Paint I ordered to touch up the hall has been dispatched so I need to sort out the mountain of papers and general carp in there _pale_ Now where's that coffee..

Had the family over for Easter - went well; gammon slightly overcooked:rotfl: salmon, however, was perfect! Youngest sis Sis and bil turned up with a HUUGE Easter egg 'for the family' - ie all of us. Despite issuing bits of it in bags there's still loads left...
Just been to DS's room and cleared it of empties which I have rinsed for recycling - mate came over for a 'drink beer and sing Oasis songs and play xbox until 4 am' -over
Another mates just been to see if DS wanted to go to the football later . I led him up to the pit - muhahahahahaha - and woke the boys up - muhahahaha

Am e baying today; never got chance to yesterday, and dealing with frogs and various other critters (dead mice - ta Jynx)
