Hmm, a neglected room ..... spoilt for choice.

    :D:D

K, faffed on with the indicator bulb mainly because I didn't know how to do it even with the manual :o and I was frightened of breaking something so didn't want to just yank, and the car shop gave me the wrong bulb *rolls eyes* but It's done now and was easy peasy in the end, and I know how to do it for next time :T

WM just finished with customers bedding, need to find my list I can cross stuff off...

    WM
    TD
    load DW
    wipe benches
    take clean washing upstairs
    tidy LR

    B&Q for paint
    car shop for indicator bulb
    ^^^fit above

    sort Diary
phone a customer to re-arrange time
    work 1 hr
    Washing for customer
    bags back in boot

    prep tea

Will probs go to B&Q tomorrow evening when DD1 is here so I can have a third opinion. Just having another brew to warm up, there's a biting wind.

    Morning all

Two loads of washing done, draped round indoors because we keep getting heavy showers in between the sun. Got out for my walk and it poured but luckily I'd put my big coat on with the hood and I was snug and warm inside it. It's just about dried off now.

Polished the computer desk, did some shredding, polished in the living room and vacuumed right through downstairs and up the stairs.

Had a little cry and felt a bit sick but forced myself to put the computer on and what I did yesterday seems to have worked and AVG seems OK now. I'm so pathetic.

Feeling a bit sorry for myself but I think it's just the day after a Bank Holiday weekend when everyone's back to work (including me tonight). I did have a nice cuddle with two dogs when I was out walking, a black labrador came straight up to me and leaned against my legs so I could cuddle it and the greyhound with it came over and looked right into my eyes so I could smooth it. I do so miss my dog.

Lamewolf is there a reason you dont have a dog of your own..you really are the perfect owner...ignore me if you want ..you just seem a little sad inbetween your doggy visits xx
Practicalities, I'm afraid. Should my lupus take a really bad turn, which realistically could happen any time without notice, and I had to be hospitalised, any dog we had would be left alone for over 12 hours while Mr LW is at work, which is completely unacceptable. This way, in the event of such a thing happening, we just call the dog-sitting company and tell the local agent I'm out of commission for a bit; should we actually be dog-sitting and I was taken that poorly, she'd come and get the dog and take it to another host or otherwise look after it herself.:o I used to have my own dog; my darling little Penny passed away in 2002; and I still miss her. Still, the dog-sitting gives me canine company some of the time, and it does mean I'm performing a useful service.;)

I agreed ages ago to make a nappy cake for a relative - I don't mind BUT it's always us that ends up doing the running around, dropping off presents at Easter, Christmas etc - but it's 100/150 miles to each set of relatives, so that's a whole day out of the weekend, means leaving the hounds at home (not allowed in mother's warden assisted flats, fair enough). I get annoyed at leaving them alone for hours (longer than we do for a working day when it's 4 hours max but no one says to go to theirs and bring them - even though they have dogs!) So this will be the last one I make for them, if they come to pick it up in future I might consider it! Sorry to rant, it's been this way for years but I'm gradually realising I've been taken for a mug for years. Rant over! Other people are expecting me to make things for them in about 2 weeks flat, I've got other stuff on the go, I can't do everything! I did offer to make something before Christmas but nothing was mentioned, and now it's panic stations and time is getting short. It really gets to me though, I wake up at silly times of the night worrying about it - 3 am last night - and can't get back off to sleep!

Right, for one thing you're not pathetic - not everyone's a techie. If I lived closer I'd come and sort the puter out for you - we could then pick Mr LW's brain if needed.;)
Second - I feel your pain, sweetie. (See my reply to mummyyof5) Have a (((HUG))).:o

Polly, bless you... sending big hugs your way... and so pleased your AVG has been fixified.. :D Is it time to consider finding a new furry to love? I am sure you could love another.

I am dead today.. 1.5 hours sleep last night has pretty much killed me.

The girls are outside playing so I am going to do some flinging in their room.. And a charity shop bag was stuffed through the door at 6:30 this morning so I shall see if I can fill a 5th bag to go!

Boys gone and boy is it quiet, me and DD have been tidying the kitchen so it's looking loads better. Clean washing has been folded and put away, only have a few more loads to do. :D

Gonna go and give the kitchen floor a brush before MrT arrives.

I like the list today, thanks juliejim :p I've already done a few "10 in 10s" so I'm building up to the big one! I'm going to do stuff in the living room and my bedroom as both need some tlc. DS is away until late Friday so can't help but DD will be roped in at some point. She's already opened a new carton of orange juice AND put it back in the fridge after use so she thinks she's made an enormous contribution already :o

    Off I go!

Well DS is at football and then DD and I have been into town as she wanted to spend some of her Easter money. I'm going to crack on now and do some things before I go to fetch DS at 2.40. So anyone want to join me for a HHC?
