Folks there are dating sites out there that don't charge. Some have better reputations than others and some have more traffic than others but like everything else in life you need to know what you want. My advice is if you are meeting someone off these sites no matter how long you chat to them in the first place on the net always make sure you meet up first time (at least) in a very public place. A couple of free sites that spring to mind are smooch.com and plentyoffish I hope this helps in some way.0

I did join a couple of dating sites and they were very offputting now i know all men are not the same and neither are all woman but there only seems to be one thing on some of their mind and a good few were married and i agree Ballyblack its something i am aware off and others should be as well .~We are all going to hell and guess who Is driving the bus~*Norn Iron club Member 294* (Hi, we’ve had to remove part of your signature. I'm a bit younger but can empathise. Just keep in mind that not paying means you are in there with the stingy and the chancers - you will get bombarded with inappropriate requests, no doubt. I would suggest you fork out for a decent site but that is difficult to define. I did match.com but it annoyed me because most people on it aren't members and cannot reply.... but you don't know this until you see that they never opened the messages... but it is all fun to do!Always overestimating...0

You don't need to be 35+ to be in the same boat. Not that I can do anything until I'm divorced but where does a 30-something single mum of 2 get a chance to meet someone?
One thing that someone suggested to me recently was dancing lessons. Apparently there's some dance thing on at the Rabbit Rooms in Bangor on a Monday night and the girl I was talking to met her new OH there. Her observation was that men who want to dance with women are the kind who hold open the door. Apparently chivalry isn't dead after all :eek:0 -
I have 2 left feet lol it is very hard is it just woman as no men have posted ,i did join and pay for one dating site and i had a real problem cancelling the payment for it total nightmare in fact .~We are all going to hell and guess who Is driving the bus~*Norn Iron club Member 294* (Hi, we’ve had to remove part of your signature. Yeah, I have heard this a bunch of times. You could always try plentyoffish but it is free and is full of idiots. With online dating so common you would have thought people take it seriously but I have had several women who played me along totally even arranging dates only to not show and admit that it was all a bit of a laugh and never serious... argh!Always overestimating...0 -
Yeah I have heard of some good stories from pof but when you get the inboxs saying crude comments its kinda offputting i think my main problem being is most of my friends are all settled and they dont want to go out ..maybe grow old alone lol~We are all going to hell and guess who Is driving the bus~*Norn Iron club Member 294* (Hi, we’ve had to remove part of your signature.
