You have been told.
Ring them they actually have decent customer service unless you are one of these people who have a loan with them and have no intention of paying it back or feel you shouldn't have to.
They generally will set up a re-payment plan and freeze interest. This is what they did for me and I kept in regular contact with them via e-mail afterwards as I found odd bits of work and made sporadic payments as long as you keep your end of the bargain with your repayment dates it will be fine.
What happened with magus was they actually took 2 payments from his account.0 -
It is really frustrating that magus has not answered the questions. Are there two amounts showing on his bank statement and other questions i asked.DCFC wouldn't it be lovely if we lived in an ideal world and all had 3-6 months salary in our bank as a back up. Alas many of us don't for a variety of reasons. If we did it would put these sharks out of business and i would be a happy man.0

update.
they did not acknowledge on the phone, or in the email, but they put the money back in my account.
no explanation , no apologies, not an extra penny, nada.

all the best0 -
At least they refunded the double payment!
Head down, repay whatever you can and you WILL clear it eventually. And as for Christmas coming.....you don't need to spend a fortune! Agree on a small budget with everyone, or make your presents.....it really is the thought that counts, you know!
Could you not use the money they've refunded to pay off a bit more the debt? Sorry if you've covered this bit before...........Practically Perfect in Every Way......:grinheart0 -

What post you refering to ? I apologised to magus about the budgeting remark (still not sure where it came from),0 -
Sorry DCFC that was not a dig or anything. Just you know all the wise men say have 3-6 months salary in a bank account just in case.
Of course if we did as I said then the PDL's would not have a business and as I hate them so much I would be happy.
Magus, personally if I were you I would now ignore them, so long as they can not access your account they will eventually go away..in all likelyhood although if they did issue proceedings you could then make a token offer0
