stop acting a duffer, you took the loan quick enough, now waffling about not repaying

What replies did you want exactly ?
Replies like oh yeh it will be fine.
Ill repeat what has been said, write to them and send it recorded delivery.0 -
Magus, frankly I would ignore the lovely people on here. If it was me I would be writing or emailing them putting your case and telling them you expect a refund and the payment of your bank charges.
If you do call them (which is never advised) get them to put it in writing as well.
It is not exactly clear from your post the chain of events and how the payments were made. Can you explain in a logical manner
For example
1/1/12 applied for loan , paid into bank agreed repayment 1/2/12
29/1/12 agreed rollover paid interest+fees over the phone (or they took out the money)
1/2/12 Wonga took another payment via ?
etc
see what I mean, that way someone will be able to offer good advice0 -

If Wonga debited the account twice in error then they have to put the OP back in the position before the error. Anything else is goodwill.
Don't know how many more times I need to say that.

How many times to we have to say "ring them and explain the error"??
Some people really do have only themselves to blame...0 -

According to the website Wonga are open 24/7
If you want to sue them due to the breach of agreement then off you go, but you'll need to stump up the cash
Otherwise, just deal with the situation. If you'd not defaulted on the loan to begin with you wouldn't be in this situation. You need to accept responsibility for your actions as well. The lender doesn't have to agree to any form of payment plan.0 -
Yes, people have been saying to call them, never recommended if it can be helped unless you can record the conversation.
However some people have been rude as is expected on here and BTW the OP did not say he defaulted, he said that they took the arranged payment twice.0 -
It's quite rude of the OP to change username halfway through a thread.Yes, people have been saying to call them, never recommended if it can be helped unless you can record the conversation.
