Your credit rating MAY be affected. The world MAY end on 21 December 2012. Both statements are accurate.

The former is the less likely, as you would have control of the situation at two points: attending the court (you lose if you don't) and paying up if you lose.

I think you now see what tricks these people will use to intimidate you into paying.

Ignore their empty threats. They know exactly what they're doing. They don't care. Eventually, they will run out of things to intimidate you with, and stop throwing good money after bad.

One day, like clamping on private land, there will be a law against this too.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

Charlotte:

1. You have not engaged with them. Good, keep it that way.
2. You want to send them a letter pointing out the legal ramifications? They already know them. They are hoping you don't. The fact that they know is the reason why they won't do anything other than write silly letters.

You cannot win an argument with someone who doesn't take any notice of what you say. That is the situation you are in with a parking company. The only thing they are interested in is, not truth and justice, but scamming your money.

Do not confuse them with a reputable or honest company.

Don't bother they probably wouldn't understand it.

.
I have not engaged with them in any kind of of response to date.
Just keep doing the same. Everyone on here will support you. :)

Everyone reading this post owes me £60 [will increase to £120 if not paid within 7 days].

Pay up or else I'll send you threatening letters.

OOOOH! Promise? Then will you take me to court? Graham White never does, he's such a disappointment, all talk and no action.
• Long story, short answer. Stop trying to reason with scamming idiots who won't listen to a word you say.

Keep your pay and display ticket safe, and from here on have NO FURTHER COMMUNICATION with them at all.

Don't phone, don't write. Leave the !!!!!! heads talking to themselves. You will get a few asinine threatening letters after which they realise you weren't the mug they took you for and give up and GO AWAY.

You owe them NOTHING. So that is what you pay them. They are crooks.

Them and a few others Jambo. If all you got was a ticket, just bin it, the nerks won't/can't touch you. Don't waste your time with their fake ticket or their fake appeal system. Cowboys!

I'm not quite sure how he managed to drive off down the street if he had been clamped. Perhaps you could explain this.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
