Glad the chest infection is getting better, and hope that everything else soon catches up.
good news on the debt targets - I think it is perfectly reasonable to try and get through to the New Year without increasing your debt. Sounds good to me!
Thanks! I'm doing my best to 'buy' Christmas presents by other means!PigginSkint's debt free diary

I have been updating some figures. It's been a bit of a long process because I don't have Excel on my laptop and all my spreadsheets are in Excel - I update them at work normally. I do email them to myself though and I have a program on my laptop which allows me to view them, but not make any changes to them. In order to do updates at home I have to use Works (not as good but not bad) - which I will email to myself at work and update my main spreadsheets.
Anyway, so much for the rambling!! I have now updated my totals for my 'Make a payment a day challenge' and it has gone up from £204.28 to £322.03PigginSkint's debt free diary

Hi All
I am going to be a bit quiet at the moment because yesterday morning the laptop died! We are looking into various options - my brother knows someone who does repairs, we have a PC which is not currently linked up to the internet so we are going to see if that is a viable option and, I suppose, we are going to have to consider buying a new one!
I am currently in our local library doing this update but from Wednesday I will be back at work so I will be able to do quick updates from there.
I feel like my right arm has been cut off - I use the laptop for so much!!
Hope to speak to you all soon!PigginSkint's debt free diary

I rely on my laptop so much. Use the time to catch up with things like reading, learning new reciepes or something. I found it quite a liberating time but at the sametime it was very difficult.0

Thanks! I have even been doing some housework! Plus I have been doing some cross stitch which I haven't done for ages. Feels very odd though!

Hi All
Just saying a quick hello! Still no internet at home so I am doing this update at the library. I have only got 5 minutes left because I used nearly all of my allotted hour to do my Avon order.
Back at work tomorrow so I should be able to update from there - hooray!
Off to the post office now to post a parcel - sold another book through Avon. Yippee! One of my highest priced items so I am very pleased!
Hope to get a good night's sleep tonight - have not been sleeping well and so I am very tired!
Better finish for now
Bye all!!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Hi All
Just a quick update as I have loads of work to do!
Last night I managed to successfully connect the PC at home to the internet – I installed the modem and it connected to the internet straight away. We now have internet access at home again – woohoo!
Last night I mainly spent downloading and installing the free anti-virus software and a firewall so that OH could get online to do this Betterware order as that was yesterday’s priority.
My Avon delivery came yesterday so I spent a large part of the evening bagging it all up ready to deliver tonight and I also put my books out last night.
I did another very important job last night – I phoned the tax credits people to arrange to pay my biggie overpayment in monthly instalments over the next 12 months. I planned to wait until after about the 10th of the month because I have requested that the DD payment go out of my account on or about the 6th of the month – meaning I won’t have to start paying it back until January. I had a very nice surprise (can’t really understand why) but my first payment will actually be 6th February instead – which will definitely be better for the old cashflow situation as the long hard slog of January (nearly 6 weeks between paydays – eek!) will be out of the way by then! While I was on the phone, I asked them if they would chase up my new claim form for me – I phoned well over a month ago and they said then that it would be out within 10 days, but still no sign of it! She said that she would get one posted out to me.
So all in all, yesterday was a very productive evening!
Better get on with some work now but will probably update again later – from home, yippee!!!!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Thanks Hypno and eamd!
Too tired to update last night and in any case it was 8:00pm before I stopped running around! I suspect tonight will be much the same!
Work is busy busy busy, but I am making good progress (not bad considering I was off sick for 3 weeks!) and I have managed to crack the 2 biggest and most important jobs that needed doing. I am just trying to get as much done this week as possible, then I can enjoy my break without fretting too much about things that need doing!
The plan for tonight (after I have left here) is, in this order:- Go to Aldi on the way home to buy more Christmas booze (I plan to buy something every evening this week so that I don't have to lug too much home at once)
- Do Avon deliveries that I didn't manage to do last night
- At the same time collect books back in
- Get Avon books ready to go back out tomorrow
- Cook dinner
- Collapse on sofa with cat
- Write Christmas cards for people at work
- Wrap some more Christmas presents (I have been amazing myself this year by wrapping as I go along)
- Collapse in bed! (Luckily I am now sleeping much better - slept very badly when I was ill - so hope for a good night's sleep tonight)
Bye for now!PigginSkint's debt free diary
