I wish! This is all stuff I have been able to do while lying on the sofa feeling sorry for myself! Apart from the clothes shopping of course, which nearly finished me off!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Oooooh Might have to drag myself into town at some point then - something I tend to avoid as I hate crowds!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Hi All
I have been back to the doctors today as I am still poorly. My doctor has signed me off work for another week - I have still got a chest infection and I have got a kidney infection as well - no wonder I feel so rough! I have got some different antibiotics so let's hope these do the trick.
I haven't been doing a huge amount as I feel too ill! Yesterday I managed to finally set up my online account management for TalkTalk - for my phone bill. Not exactly the most user friendly procedure, but I have done it at last! I have changed over to online billing rather than paper billing which will be a saving of £1.25 a month. I have also signed up for mobile extra at 45p a month which will give us 25% off all calls to mobiles, so that will save some more money. The other thing I have finally got round to doing is to set up my calling circle, so that should save even more!
Yesterday I also added a grand total of one extra item to my Amazon listings - woohoo! I have also taken one off as I realised it would make an ideal Christmas present for someone - so that will save me some money.
Today is payday - yippee! I have just paid for my last Avon order so I have added £91.74 to my total for this month for the make £10 a day challenge, so I am now over £200 - woohoo!
Today I am going to some sums - my total credit card debt and my total non-mortgage debt. This will be in preparation for updating my totals on 1st December. I want to see if I am still on course for hitting my targets for this month - credit card debt under £23K and total non-mortgage debt under £34K. I must be close so if I am still slightly over I shall make some little payments to make sure!
I think that's all the news for now - bye all!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Hi All
I am chuffed to bits today because of my current total on the Make £10 a Day in November challenge = £228.77. Woohoo! This is a combination of Avon commission (2 lots this month) Amazon sales - profit from one item over £22 - Littlewoods cashback of £4.40 (which I am querying because I think it should be more), Quidco, vouchers earned for doing surveys, gift earned through ipoints.
Also, by Monday my Littlewoods balance will be £0 (one way or another) and I have done some preliminary figures for my 1st December totals and I have to say they are looking gooooood!
Still feeling very ill but at least I am keeping myself amused!

Hi All
The last 24 hours have been pretty horrendous for me. As I am ill I don't have much of an appetite and last night I really didn't fancy potatoes for dinner so l decided to make veggie chilli and rice. I forgot, of course, that it is not a clever thing to do to eat spicy food when you have got poorly kidneys. Oh dear God the pain! I retired to bed with my electric heat pad on one side and the microwavable wheat bag on the other. Drank as much water and cranberry juice as I could manage (had to do it slowly as that hurt as well if I did it too fast). As a result, slept very badly and didn't get out of bed until past 1pm this afternoon. I'm still very tired and am just playing on the laptop and watch Strictly.
Bye all!PigginSkint's debt free diary

goodness, you do sound rough. I have suffered from kidney infections as has my DD (who ended up in hospital with hers, so please look after yourself!) so I feel your pain.....

Thanks Hypno
I have suffered from kidney infections in the past (even had to have 2 minor ops - of the non-incision variety if you catch my drift) but haven't had one for over a year which is why I had forgotten about the spicy food thing.
On the up-side, I think (but don't want to tempt fate too much by saying it!) the chest feels a little bit easier today - haven't coughed up quite as much gunge today and the 'feel like someone is standing on my chest' feeling is not quite as bad today. (Keeps fingers very tightly crossed!!!!)
Sorry if that was TMI!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Make sure you get plenty of rest in - you are in danger of being exhausted with two very different infections.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
