    Hi All

Got a result with Southern Electric today. My gas and electric bills arrived this morning (same company for both). I have overpaid for my electric and underpaid for my gas. Gave them a ring and they are transferring some of the electric overpayment to cover the gas shortfall. They are also going to refund the remaining amount to my bank account - so £150 is winging its way to me! woohoo!:j Then they reviewed my monthly DDs for both, based on my usage for the last year. My gas DD is being increased by £16 a month but the electric DD is being decreased by £33 a month, which means overall I shall be £17 a month better off. Double woohoo! :j

Once the £150 hits my bank account I shall be able to pay a nice big chunk off the Evil Egg card! :j

Now that's what i call a result lol. I've overpaid on my gas too but i'm leaving it on the account seens as how i'm on maternity leave.

I'm glad you and OH sorted things out. It's always silly things me and DH fall out over, but there's usually something else underlying. He's a sulker. He'd sulk for days but i always end up talking 1st 'cause i get bored :D

That is even more infuriating! My Ex and I never argued and that is definitely not a good thing! At least OH and I feel that if we are displeased with each other we can actually say so!

    Hi All

Today is my 39th birthday and also my first day back at work after 2 weeks off sick. It hasn't been a bad day - lots of people have been in to see me, mainly to do with the cakes I brought in I suspect!

My Dad is taking us out for dinner this evening to Frankie and Benny's - yum!

Right, home time soon! Bye all!

I forgot to say: Yesterday was mine and OH's 7th anniversary - 7 years ago yesterday I met OH in a nightclub and the first words I ever spoke to him were incredibly romantic ........'I think I'm going to be sick!' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Hi All

Had a really scrummy meal last night with OH, DS, my Dad, SM and youngest brother. I know now why my Dad suggested it - at F&Bs you get 25% off the food bill on a Monday night! :rotfl:Who am I to argue?!:money:

Presents: meal off my Dad, bottle of gin off my brother, delia smith book off DS, box of chocs and 2 DVDs (David Tennant's Hamlet and Breakfast at Tiffany's ) off OH.

Stitches come out tomorrow - can't wait. Finger is really itching now!

  • Hi All

Pay Day today – woohoo! I also find myself in the rather fortunate position of having quite a lot of February’s money left over, which has enabled to make some rather lovely big extra payments today! The biggest one (made up of several smaller ones) was a total of£225.97 to the Evil Egg card.

Had my stitches out yesterday and finger is quite sore today - not surprising with all the pulling and cutting etc yesterday. I've still got a dressing on but hope to lose that soon - surgeon said 2 weeks but nurse said 2 days! I am going to try for the 2 days - I want to get it moving again! Got to go back to clinic in 2 weeks time.

Right must get on with some work!
