    I'm back!!!!!!

Yesterday was a very busy day and I am feeling very tired today. I am doing as much as possible to catch up today - still need to unpack yet!

We had a lovely holiday, we were really lucky with the weather, I spent more money than I meant to, but hey ho, the holiday did me the power of good and I am raring to go with the debt busting so I will have paid off my holiday expenses fairly soon, I am sure!

The best bit (well 2 bits really) is that it is nearly payday (Friday) and I have still got nearly a week before I go back work (Tuesday)! Woohoo!

Off now to catch up on other stuff (not least the Payment a Day thread!)

    Bye All!

    Hi All

I have been feeling very tired and not very well since I got back from hols - I had to have a steroid injection into my right elbow joint again on Wednesday - this has caused me to feel very sorry for myself.

Back to work today - woopeydoo!! (not)

I have updated my debt totals and sig today - total credit cards is back above £20K and total non-mortgage debt is back above £30K (just). I am full of hope that this is a temporary situation! The increase is nearly all holiday expenses and I have also just had to buy some clothes (particularly trousers), school shoes and trainers for DS as he is growing like a weed and his last pair of school shoes fell apart! The balance on my Egg card is currently nearly £1200:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: (Hmmmm - perhaps I ought to include this as a separate bit of my sig - think perhaps I will!)

Lots of debt busting plans are in place - PAD (Payment a Day) = £5.01 today, Amazon Marketplace, flog anything else I can think of, be really careful with other spends, free daily scratchcard (10p today), free bingo (I live in hope that I might actually win something!), investigate other ways of making extra cash, etc etc.

Anyway off to update sig again, play free bingo, cook dinner!

    Bye all!

Thanks Dawn! Elbow is starting to feel better but it will take time.

OH is still working - he has 2 weeks left of the current run and has put his name down for another week afterwards working as crew to dismantle the tent. Hopes are high for a winter season in London (still tentative) and a tour (to USA etc) in the Spring. Strangely enough, OH was at home on Monday when the Betterware man came knocking on the door seeing if OH wanted to go back - OH says that he might well do that in the few weeks he will have spare! (Blimey!) So things are definitely looking up!

  • Hi All

Note to self - must update own diary a bit more often!

I can be found every day on the Make a Payment a Day thread (perhaps I should just copy what I post on there to here!)

Not much to report really - work is really busy and we have a new member of staff who seems nice enough but unfortunately appears to be a bit too big for her boots and is already treading on a few toes, including mine!

I don't want to say too much, but OH is likely to only be home for a few weeks before he goes away again! ;)

In other news, I am currently completely addicted to Farmville on FB so if anyone would like to be my neighbour, let me know!

I think that is all for now!

    Bye all!

Farmville is seriously addictive.....but great fun of course! I can't go to bed tonight until I have harvested my strawberries and I have planted some more seeds - probably soybeans! I have milked my cows, collected my eggs and harvested the fruit on my trees!

There are loads of us from the Make a Payment a Day thread on there!

Re OH the tickets have gone on sale, but he and other cast members are still negotiating - hint hint!

The new starter is going to have to learn soon - there are a few academics who are ready to blow, so that will probably teach her a valuable lesson! It can't happen soon enough, as far as I am concerned - grrrrrr!!! (I am a tolerant person but she has already wound me up!)
