Aw - poor you. I'd have strangled it !!!
We went to London last week MOn - Thurs so looked to see PPan but they didn't do a matinee till Thursday and we was on the train - good job really as we where shattered and glad to be coming home, though we did miss our train by 2 mins, smiled sweetly at the desk and they let us use our tickets for the next train. Could have kissed the woman !Sealed pot challenge 822

Hi All
It has been a very long and tiring day - I have only been home about half an hour after going out at 6:30am this morning!
The end of the working day was quite nice though - firstly, at the Exam Board I was thanked for all my hard work (the adminstration for this particular course is shortly to be handed over to someone else (long story but basically because of restructuring within the uni) as part of the official business (under Any Other Business) which is good because it means that it goes in the minutes - which I write anyway - which will make good evidence for my next Performance Development Review. It is always good to feel appreciated! They also presented me with a bottle of champagne! I was dumbstruck and actually quite emotional!
Then I was invited to join some of the examiners for a pint. So I have had 2 pints of lager, neither of which I bought so it hasn't cost me a penny!:money:
Feeling a bit squiffy actually! I had a long wait for a train so I decided to treat myself to a BK spicy bean burger meal at the station - which means I haven't got to cook! :T
So not a bad day really!
Feeling very very very tired so will be off to bed very soon!
Oops nearly forgot today's countdown:
It's payday today!!!!!:j:j:j

Hi All
Very tired again today after a nightmarish week - off to bed soon!
Managed to get away from work early - had to go down to campus this afternoon so went straight to station afterwards so was home by 4pm!
Today I phoned the doctors to try to make an appointment because I have run out of migraine tablets. My doctor is off sick and so I was asked if I wanted to see another doctor. I explained that I just needed some more migraine tablets. The lady I spoke to (a receptionist I think) said that she would speak to a doctor and see what they could do and see if they could get me a prescription without seeing a doctor, so told me to phone back at about 4pm. By 3:30pm I was back in town so I called in on my way home and lo and behold, they had a prescription for me - result! So I now have new supplies! Good job really - I get a lot of headaches and migraines in the summer months (probably linked to hayfever).
I finally managed to get out to do some Avon deliveries today. I should have gone out on Wednesday, but it was raining too hard - not good for deliveries because no matter how hard I try, everything gets soaking wet (paper delivery bags etc). Yesterday I didn't get back home until about 8:45pm - far too late to knock on people's doors. So I had to break my normal rule and do Avon on a Friday!
I will need to change the call back day on my Avon order forms and put my books out tomorrow, as well as trying to do the rest of the deliveries.
Tomorrow I shall need to drag myself out of bed at an earlier time than I would normally get up on a Saturday, as I need to go to the sorting office to pick up a parcel - my latest Holland and Barratt order - and it is only open until midday. I am normally still in my pyjamas at midday on a Saturday!
Anyway, I had better go and persuade the cat to come back inside and then I am heading off to bed.
Today's countdown:

Evening All!
I will do a proper full update tomorrow - too tired now and I am enjoying watching the Proms. Seth McFarlane of Family Guy fame is currently singing (songs from MGM musicals is the theme) - who would have thought it!
Today is 1st August so I have updated my debt figures and signature - those numbers are falling nicely. The old Egg card is going to take a battering while we are on holiday but hoping (and planning) to pay it off again as fast as possible, but in the meantime if my 1st September totals are no bigger than my 1st July totals, I will be quite happy - here's hoping!

Hi All
Never got chance to update yesterday - a combination of being too tired and trying desperately trying to get some jobs done.
Today I have been very tired and had an absolutely splitting headache all day - I tried paracetamol and ibuprofen but no joy and in the end I had to take a migraine tablet mid afternoon. This meant that I spend the rest of the afternoon still with a headache but with a head full of cotton wool. It is only now that my head no longer hurts.
Had an awful day today really - something happened at work which really upset me. Don't want to go into too much detail but effectively it was an attack directed at me. I am not claiming to be without fault but I do feel that a mountain has been made out of a molehill. Lots of people are backing me up, but it is still upsetting.
Everything seemed to go wrong today and I am rather glad today is over with.
OH came back home last night and is going back to London tomorrow. He treated us to indian tonight - mm mmm mmmmmmm!
OH has mowed the lawn for me today - hooray! - and very shortly will be making himself useful again by mending the flush on the loo....again! Luckily it is not a high tech one so the solution is not a high tech one either - pair of pliers and a bit of wire coathanger!
Anyway, off to have a lovely soak in the bath and then bed.

Hi All
This week is turning into a bit of a nightmare work-wise. I have managed to get a lot done but there still so much to do! Early starts and late finishes are the routine for this week.
At home there is loads I wanted to do but have barely touched yet - I want the house clean and tidy before going away and I really wanted to have started packing by now!
Oh well, I suppose all I can do is keep plodding on and just do a much as I can.
Off to cook some dinner now and then a lovely soak in the bath and, hopefully, an early night. If I get overtired I am going to achieve even less.
2 days left at work until I break up for my holiday (and still so much to do!)
4 days left until DS comes back (and I haven't even hoovered his bedroom yet!)
5 days left until I go on holiday (and still so much to do!)
