Copied from the Make a Payment a Day Challenge thread:

    Hi All

Trying to re-establish my routines (updates etc!) after being without a computer for quite a while until recently.

Now OH is paying me a decent amount of money every week, I am managing to do reasonably large daily payments - for the 2nd half of last month I was managing £20 a day (weekday). I have started this month on £10 a day but I have worked out that from Monday I can afford to go back up to £20 a day, which is great!

I have changed my sig to show much I have paid off in the current month and how much I have paid off still I started this challenge. So far in February I have managed to pay £50.20 in daily payments and a total of £658.98 since I started the challenge.

    Feel really chuffed with myself!

    Happy Sunday everyone!

I am having a bit of lazy weekend - it's allowed occasionally! OH and DS are out doing Betterware and I am sat here with a lovely glass of port (my 2nd - hic!) and a bar of chocolate I bought for myself the other day but forgot to eat - yum!

I am in the process of doing all my washing - washing machine and dishwasher both running at the moment. I bought some glue yesterday to mend the door of my tumble drier - which is something I try not to use too much anyway , usually use radiators and clothes horse.

I have been a good MSE-er today and cooked DS and OH a beef casserole in my slowcooker. I did myself a similar one in a saucepan and then did some potatoes in the steamer. So we all had casserole, cheesy herby dumplings and mashed potatoes - mmm mmm MMM!!!

Yesterday I bought my tickets for the outdoor show at the NEC - the cost for the 3 of us was £24, a saving of £10 on the on-the-door price. Bargain!! I have been showing DS the information leaflet and he is very impressed by all the free activities he will able to do there - canoeing, rockclimbing, mini-golf! I think I might have sold it as half-term treat!!

OH has got an audition for an advert on Tuesday. I have just bought his coach tickets for him using my card - funfares woohoo! (he will give me the cash back). We are keeping our fingers crossed that the trains and coaches are running (he will need to get a train into B'ham to catch the coach) because there is more snow forecast over the next couple of days, and it is going to be cutting a little fine to get there on time as it is - the audition is at 12 noon in London. We have looked a few different options for getting him into Birmingham, just in case the train he wants is cancelled or delayed - only the earliest one of the day will get him there in time to catch the coach. We have managed to find a couple of buses as well, just in case. I have told him that he will just have to get up at about 5am and look at the National Train Enquiries and National Express websites to see if things are running on time.

I think that's all the news for now - bye all!

    Hi All

What happened to the weekend?! I can't believe it is already Monday again.

My Avon delivery is due tomorrow morning so I have just been getting my books ready to go out. I am just printing off my returns form ready to package up my returns to give to the delivery driver when he comes tomorrow - that's if I see him of course! He has been coming later in the morning so I haven't been here the last twice or three times, but OH has been here - which he won't be tomorrow. Oh well, if I am not here, the returns will just have to wait until next time.

Right, I am off now to do my returns, eat the rest of my dinner (only managed half earlier), do lunches, iron clean clothes for DS for tomorrow morning, then go to bed - I am very very tired! (Stayed up late last night watching the repeat of Being Human - I missed the first showing as I was watching the BAFTAs).

    Night All!

Oh I hope so! OH still has the capacity to irritate the hell out of me though!

    Evening All!

My Avon delivery hadn't arrived by the time I left this morning, which normally wouldn't matter because OH would be here, but today he wasn't. I got home expecting to find a note to say that it had been delivered somewhere else, but nothing. I phoned them up and got the automated system - it turns out that because of the weather lots of deliveries are running behind schedule, including mine. It will be delivered tomorrow. Oh well, at least I haven't missed it.

This means I have got a night off - woohoo! I'm looking forward to a long soak in the bath and an early night!

OH managed to get his coach to London O.K. today - he phoned me once he was on it to let me know. I haven't heard anything more from him, so I can only assume that no news is good news. I imagine he will be home in about an hour or so.

An official looking letter in a brown envelope has arrived for OH. No clue who it might be from and it looks far too thin to be his tax return. It looks like the sort of letter that says 'You owe us lots of money - pay us now or we send the big boys round!' I shall have to wait and see!

No more news to report at the moment - bye for now!

Enjoy the soak in the bath!

You could always open the letter by mistake ;)

Tee hee hee! :rotfl: Tempting, but there is really no need - if he won't answer a straight question about what it is, he is highly unlikely to tidy it away (this is OH we are talking about!) so I can read it later! ;)
