What do you think of this hammock? UPDATE - It's arrived!!

Have you really got a picture hanging on the wall that close to the scratch post
We had to move our kitchen clock a few days ago...after nearly chucking it out, as it was running slow and changed batteries so many times in the last few weeks... we found out why...
Maisy was jumping on the microwave (wall mounted 5ft high) and was stretching and moving the dials on the clock...
We had to move the picture that was hanging near the scratchpost, well it was a canvas...and moved to the tip as she jumped and hung onto it...from top to bottom of the pic...
LOL. It's fine, it's a glass fronted print and is fairly secure on the wall. Sometimes it seems to become somewhat askew as if by magic, but I don't think there is any danger of it falling off. Most of the time, the cats just ignore it. Despite them being Bengals, my cats are obviously better behaved than yours :rotfl: (*takes tongue out of cheek*)

I think most people's cats are better behaved then mine!0 -
These pics are fab!
Mine would look at the hammock and say "well it's lovely but I'm off to bed". But my friend has just been here today with her ragdoll (have to lock my Asbo away) and she has one and her cats love it,and it looks like yours would too.
We also found ourselves looking at a certain Bengal site looking at all the pics, she was really impressed at how beautifull they are too,in facct told me to switch it off before she looked into how to get one.
I'm sure they will love it,especially if you suspend it from the ceiling somehow, when mine was a kitten she used to try and jump onto the ceiling fan (I mean whilst it was on):eek:Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -

Ha ha! Thanks for looking at my website and for your kind comments! (I think I'm OK saying that as long as I don't actually put the link in).
Mine look at the ceiling fan, but have never tried to actually jump on it :rotfl:
I'm just waiting for a nice offer on Royal Canin 10kg on Z+ - they often give away a free gift with 10kg, but I'm not really fussed about the toy they have at the moment (mine already have far too many toys). As soon as a good offer comes up, I'll buy the RC and add the hammock as well I think.0 -
Mine could get to it via a bookshelf....actually managed on time, well not properly and was knocked out for a couple of seconds as it hit her head and she fell to the floor,I thought she'd killed herself for those two seconds (looking back at it it seems really funny now). Got a friend to saw bookshelf in half so she couldn't to it again. Idiot cat..lolYep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0

Ok, so the hammock arrived today.... and the first cat in it was.....
Lulabelle!!!
It is pretty good, and certainly a great freebie, not suitable for a really large cat though I wouldn't have thought.0 -

Yes, I've been trying to coax Harry into it to see what it would be like for bigger cats, he's our largest cat at 5.6kg but so far he's not taking any interest at all.
Mind you, he has only just started going in the big dog bed (bought for the cats of course) and on the cat tree this week, and we've had both of those things for months! So quite a while to wait yet until he tries it out me thinks!0 -
Sending mu 8kg of Teddy over - to try it out LOL0
