I bought a cat tree from zooplus, not same as one above but similar, but unfortunately the hammock part didn't last too long and snapped off. My ragdoll loved it, just a shame he wore it out over quickly. Rest of the tree is still going strong and gets plenty of use :)

I bought a radiator bed from lidls for a fiver, thought it probably wouldn't last very long, but it has been great, even with a large cat using it. I'd definitely risk a fiver on another lidl one again.

I like the look of the wood hung hammock, have seen them on zooplus and been tempted, but resisted as my two are spoilt enough.

My five are spoilt enough, too, but that doesn't stop me :rotfl: I've had the cat tree for almost a year now with daily, boisterous use by four cats (Harry only goes on it very occasionally) and it is almost as good as new - just some slight wear to one or two fabric areas. For the price I paid, I'm pleased :) I know someone who has one cat (a Bengal) and she has good one of the really good quality trees (can't remember the name) where you can add bits to it over time. In the space of about 18 months, she has spent over £3,000 on various parts  and I dont think she's finished yet :eek:

    Lulu to Robbie:
Is it my turn yet? I wanna come up there. Please. Pleease! Pleeeease!

    Robbie to Lulu:
You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? No way are you getting the top place on this cat tree.

    Spot (thinks) to Robbie:
You're so macho. I wanna be like you when I grow up.

Fantastic! But you see the fluffy pink feather thingy on the tree? That's one of Robbie's favourite toys. His other favourite is a pink pillow filled with valerian. Not so macho now, huh? :p

Pollycat - I loved your caption so much that I just showed it to Lulabelle and this is what she thought:

    Me too.

Ok, so maybe Lulu was amused, but Spot is keeping a very low profile and hoping that Robbie doesn't notice that he's pinched the hammock! :)

Thanks, Lisa - I love 'em all too. Most of the time anyway :D

I took this to be Lula being very amused - she didn't stop giggling about it for ages afterwards :rotfl:

Anyways, I'm going to order the hammock when I next place an order at Z+ (so probably not that long to got then :D) and I will take some pics and post them on this thread ;)

Have you really got a picture hanging on the wall that close to the scratch post

We had to move our kitchen clock a few days ago...after nearly chucking it out, as it was running slow and changed batteries so many times in the last few weeks... we found out why...

Maisy was jumping on the microwave (wall mounted 5ft high) and was stretching and moving the dials on the clock...

We had to move the picture that was hanging near the scratchpost, well it was a canvas...and moved to the tip as she jumped and hung onto it...from top to bottom of the pic...
