Just to confirm we have now received the payout on our 25 year Aviva/NU "Low start" policy (Ave. £56 pm, Mar 1988-Mar 2013).
The amount was £23,101 -- details as above -- and the terminal bonus of £1,900 was 18.4% of the Sum Assured.

Did you get any extra for the MEP mate, which was there mortgage promise ?

Anyone got a Friends life endowment that has matured ? I have one due to mature on the 14th June 2015 and am trying to decide whether to keep it or not. Thanks :)
  • Scottish Amicable/Pru policy target amount approx 50k paid out 44k. Not as bad as I thought it may be

    Hi,
Can I ask what your payments were, I have a Scottish Amicable/Pru Policy due to Mature in Jan/2014, The original Payments were £78.00 P/Month Then this was raised in 2001 to £104.00...Looking at everybody's else's maturing values I'm either going to have a big surplus (I don't Think So) or have I paid way over the top........Currently the total Bonuses and Benefits are £33k as at 31/12/2012, Can't see it making the original 48K needed....:(
  • Sure - I should have put it in! It was just over £66 per month - never changed
  • Has anybody had a Scottish Provident endowment mature this year. I have one that is due in December. Should have paid out £54000. Lowest estimate £38000 highest £41000. Not sure if this includes terminal bonus or not ?
