Phew, luckly ive just foun these posts.
So i rang back and asked for a refund only to be put on hold for 15 minutes plus. Hung up rang again-same happend. Rang a third time and told them i dont want to be put on hold again as i have bin for ages. The girl by the name of Rachel didnt seem to like it and said she has to put me through to the right department-when i paid the money initialy they didnt seem to have to put me through-happy to take money!!!! Anyway i told them ill email insted and she said that be ok, so that i am. Rang my bank (HSBC) and they said i cant stop the payment as i athourised it but to ring back once it out of my account and they will then get on to it as i will have a 14day cooling off period.
One thing i can say is i WILL get my cash-had probs like this before and i never give up.
Ryansrs - This is standard Yes Loans behavior. Please don't waste your money ringing them - you'll ALWAYS get put on hold or get to talk to a half-trained monkey who will tell you that you, "have to write to get your money refunded".
The email addresses they provide either don't work or never get answered - why would they? They don't want you to get your money back - they want you to get fed up and give up.
Email me on "Yorkshire-lad400@Hotmail.co.uk" and I'll send you good contact details for them - email and phone (non-premium rate).0 -
Hi guys
My wife applied to this lot of thieves back in november. She was told they needed bacnk details to prove she held an account. we were informed there was a fee to pay. She explained she was unsure if she wanted the loan and would contact them the following day if required. She called back 2 hours later and told them she didnt want the loan and not to take the admin fee which she was assured would not happen. 6 days later they stole 59,95 from her.
When called about this we were always told that a supervisor would liusten to the calls and get abck to us within 48-72 hours. Natuarlly these calls never came. So i wrote to them and their chairman. I charged them 20 pounds for each time i wrote to them (once every 2 weeks) and also would add charges of £5 per week that they held my money illegally. Also 10 pounds for numerous phonecalls to them.
I got the standard response from them in letter form that my case was being investigated.
Called them last week and got some little jumped up runt who told me i can not add charges to the account and if i got a refund i would only get 54.95 as they charged for issuing s cheque. So i told the little runt if he can add charges so can i.
In my previuos letters to them i explained if they refunded the amount in full within 14 days of first letter i would not add the charges. They didnt. So i added the charges. Now i have applied to take court action against them for a total of £215.95 which includes charges and the admin fee.
They have told the court they intend to dispute the full amount owed. They have phonecalls on record from us. I have my phonebill to show when we called them so if the tapes "go missing" from then i have the proof i called them and the court will ask for the tapes.
So thanks to the jumped up little runt yes loans have 12 days to file a defence or i can issue judgement against them (they wont be able to get credit lol) and i can then get the court to issue a warrant and seize goods totalling the amount they owe me.
I suggest guys you file for small claims at www.moneyclaim.gov.uk lets get as many cases against them as possible.
Will let you know how i get on0 -
RECLAIM SUCCESS OF £59
We too fell into the scam of yes loans and their fee of £59, all a waste of time. I recommend anybody with a similar problem of obtaining a refund contact yorkshirelad. The contacts he gives are spot on. We phoned the numbers and got immediate response. It took 15 days from start to finish to get our refund.0 -

I used them once was on the phone for about 45 mins and then they tell me to pay a fee, I refused to pay the fee and then they put me though to another person trying to sell me something and when i said who are you they hung up. Why should people pay someone to look for a loan they said there were a few companys that i could get the loan from i said who and they would not say. I got my loan in the end wish i had not got the loan now.
AVOID COMPANYS that charge you a fee and do not give them your mobile number you get text after text after text (about 15 a day i had for a week)Jan Wins: .0 -

I second this advice please at all costs AVOID YES LOANS OR YESLOANSUK LIKE THE PLAGUE0 -
I too fell for the YES Loans scam. They ensured me I would get a fast loan and as I said I needed it within 4 weeks or I would try somewhere else. I paid £69.50 fee by debit card and told them I only wanted to repay the loan over 12 months. They told me the repayments would be about £98 per month for £1,000. (All their calls were recorded by me too). After numerous phone calls and not hearing anything, being passed from one operator to another and another.....I finally (3 weeks later) got a letter today congratulating me they had found me a lender - BUT ON TOTALLY DIFFERENT TERMS...!!! 36 months at £55 per month!!! I dont think so... total scam. I am going to try to get my £69.50 fee back when I get more advice. Stay away from them cowboys. I am dreading my phone bill !!0

My boyfriend fell victim to Yes Loans last year; no loan was arranged as per. We wrote a preliminary letter claiming the fee and quoting their terms and conditions which are that they will refund the fee less £5 after 3 months if you apply in writing. No reply, so we then wrote a letter before action. No reply again, so we did an online court claim. They failed to respond at all or mount a defense and judgement was awarded against them including court fee and interest. Two days later they left a message saying they were trying to refund just the fee to his credit card. They were trying to deny knowledge of the judgement but obviously we had everything recorded and said we would send the bailiffs in if they didn't pay what the court had said they must. The full payment arrived after that.
The more people take them to court the less likely it is that they can continue to trade. What they rely on is people being too scared of the legal process to take them on, or too apathetic to pursue £50-£70.Magiciansgirl0 -
I also fell victim to them, how can they get away with it?
If you google Yes loans the 3 link back is a story about how they rip people off
