Thank you Jakes-Mum for the lovely laughs
Jemma - Avengers was awesome, loved it so much and it really cheered the OH up. He was even well enough to go to A$da with me afterwards to do some food shopping
Tonight my parents are coming over for a cuppa so I need to blitz the flat before they arrive.
Mortgage payment number 2 made, if I could see it in my online banking I'd put it in my sig. Might get the OH to log into his tonight so I can see how much its come down hehe. Won't be much at all but it all counts. My aim is to get us both a savings buffer and then we can think of overpaying it a bit.HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

There are two ways of doing the pension:- it comes out before tax
- it comes out after tax, but your pension company reclaims the tax paid
Antonia1 – oooh is the Millau Viaduct the really REALLY high up road about 300ft high? If so then I’ve watched a documentary on how they built it and it was sooooo cool. Massive congrats on the PCGE place!!! Well done for reaching that elusive 50%!
Yeah, it is this one:

I am ridiculously excited, and the village nearby is supposed to be nice, so we're gonna drive out there, have lunch then come back. Most people seem to think I'm mad to drive 2 hours just to see a bridge, but I think it is awesome!:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Hi
I paid off 245 yesterday. Still got a few things to pay in the middle of the month but hoping to pay extra to them. I get my credit card statements around the 20th so will get a more accurate figure then ( to account for interest).

My hubby's is taken out after tax, he's with Aviva, but they do claim the tax back automatically for him. It's still worth checking though.£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

Hi as one of many newbies just joined I thought I'd say hello and introduce myself.
LBM was in June 2010, the first thing to go was the overdraft, when I just stopped being so darn stupid about money. I think that my main problem was trying to live up to the lifestyle I thought I was supposed to have and perceived those around me were living.
I have a personal loan which finishes in July and then I need to focus on my Credit Card, which is currently on 0%. I have a load of stuff to ebay so fingers crossed!! The idea of having a set time goal is really motivating me now :j.
So without further ado here are my numbers:
