Very excited about my lovely future, knowing I could be debt free in the next 12 months. It really will change my life and for the better. Just got to make that all important first few steps.

Good news is I should be set up as a limited company by the end of May. This could be exactly what I need and the start of something. Good times ahead,I believe you make your own luck.

    Morning all!

hubby has gone away for the weekend :j so I'm looking forward to a peaceful, footy-free weekend with the bed and tv remote all to myself :D Will have to share the bed with the 4 kitties but have washed their fave fleece and going to put it on his side of the bed so at least I won't have to share my side for a change ;) Should be a very MSE and healthy weekend too. Got friends coming round on Sunday for a bit of a buffet tea but that's all I have planned. No need to go out shopping or anything like that, bliss! :)

Hope you all have a lovely weekend xxx

I find it so much easier to stick to budget when my BH is not there! maybe I should just get rid!

Card £736 to pay before sept. Am not looking at the others it's too disheartening!

Grrr why are kids so darned expensive? why didnt someone tell me before I had them? :rotfl: Went out to buy DH a pair of jeans as he managed to rip the entire pocket off the pair he wore out last night down the pub  and managed to spend a further £51 on clothes for the bloomin kids  ok £12 of it was my fault as they had a big sign saying '3 for £4' on the boys boxers, and I thought ooo great deal, not realising it meant £4 for each pack of 3  bit of a sneaky advertising trick and one I wouldnt normally fall for, oh and they dont do returns on underwear either . . . how convenient ;)
On a plus side they had reduced a load of the girls trousers to £2 a pair which is great for Miss Lily as she is a typical 4 year old and she was showing a fair bit of ankle so £10 for 5 pairs of trousers wasn't bad really.
What makes it really bad though is I didnt get anything for meself . . . again :rotfl: ahh things never change :rotfl:

Possibly the worst money saving weekend so far. Went out with a few friends, spent 60 quid getting steaming and then lost my phone and a hoody.

Awesome bit of fun, but would have probably been better off staying in. Needed it after a horrible week at work, a bunch of people got laid off and it was really unpleasant.
    DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

    Total - 10762/10762 :)

Every silver lining has its cloud.
  • Superheavy, sorry to hear your news but sometimes you just have to let your hair down and forget about things. Hope you have a better week this week
