    Grrr!! *Rant Alert*

DLA, your decision makers should be ashamed of themselves, WHY exactly did we have to wait over 15 weeks for a decision due to you waiting for all the information for you to then not even bother to read it? I stated no less than 4 times on the form that DH cannot walk more than 30 mtrs WITH a walking stick, and that is at a very slow shuffle, I can actually walk faster than him and im on HRM! and not at all without, yet you decide he can walk unlimited 'with the help of walking aids' so is not entitled to anything at all
Ohhhhh Jakesmum, that is SO carppy, good for you for standing your ground though, just keep hassling them and I am sure it will speed through. Its probably just their first hurdle to put people off, though its really naughty that they do things like that.
    Don't turn a slip up into a give up:D

I think this will be my last payment of 2012 :D-

Oh dear jakes-mum what pests! It is probably one of those tests, if you turn them down 3 times and they still apply, they must really want/need it *touch wood they only make you apply twice* but if anyone can have a great mse Christmas, it's you!

Well you know you're committed to budgeting when you get in at 3am a little tipsy *cough cough* and make a note of everything you spent in your budget planner. Including the 70p found on the floor, and the 80p the man at the bar short changed you by . Although in the last few weeks I have spotted some areas I didn't realise I was wasting just so much money, so no toiletries til New Year, and need to cut down my food bill. I'm shocked just how much I spent on food when I was (supposedly) watching what I spent, can't imagine how much I spent when I wasn't watching!!

I have paid off a little more, over £2000 mark! But I think I'll update next week after pay day!
  • Think hubby maybe having a mini LBM! He was looking at cashback sites the other night and today he's been doing some car insurance quotes (as this is due next month :(). Quote - "I'll get £40 cashback with this one so that'll bring the cost down to £260!" :D

Wow that is super dedicated :D I waste a HUGE amount of money on toiletries as I find it VERY hard to resist, I work for one of the nicest, smelliest cosmetics company in the UK, and its NOT the B*dy shop.
Lucky lucky me as I love it there and always have but it is such a temptation being around all those lovely products every day even with the discount. I have curbed in the last couple of months so I am now not spending unless it is something I have ran out of. :D

Well I've been away for the weekend so not managed to look at your posts yet. I stayed with my sister and her husband in Yorkshire (bit of a mobile dead spot to be honest!). I helped them de-rig at a show at the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford as they do the sound and lighting for the shows. We had a good laugh and spent Sunday putting up Christmas decorations!

I've had some terrific news, remember several months ago, I helped my family's company by putting money in there instead of paying off my loan (not very mse for me but it saved my family's business while they were struggling which is far more important!)....???? Well.... they are giving me the money back which means I can put an offer in on that house I loved!!!! I'm viewing it tomorrow evening with my family. It's on for £98k but am hoping to get it reduced SIGNIFCANTLY as there have only been 5 viewings on it since it went on in May... Looking at it, it needs completely gutting so this will probably have put off other first time buyers who can't afford it cos it needs a new bathroom, kitchen, carpets, fire.... plus decorating etc which will come to about £10k. I'll have to replace the carpets in the living room and bedroom first as well as just painting the wall paper for now until I've enough money to actually do the job properly. I've enough money to also rip out the bathroom straight away (it has an avacado bathroom suit, wood panelled ceilings and shelving plus a horrible swirly patterned carpet....YUCK!!!!) Everything else will need to be done up bit by bit as I am NOT getting in to debt again by doing it up all at once. I have most certainly learned my lesson. Besides, it will be quite nice to save up for what you want as it will mean more. I'm thinking of it as old style house decorating!

Anyway, must dash as I'm at work but will log on and catch up with you all properly tonight xxx

p.s. it's less than a month until christmas now...!!!!
