Grrr!! *Rant Alert*
DLA, your decision makers should be ashamed of themselves, WHY exactly did we have to wait over 15 weeks for a decision due to you waiting for all the information for you to then not even bother to read it? I stated no less than 4 times on the form that DH cannot walk more than 30 mtrs WITH a walking stick, and that is at a very slow shuffle, I can actually walk faster than him and im on HRM! and not at all without, yet you decide he can walk unlimited 'with the help of walking aids' so is not entitled to anything at all
So yes I have rung the people you hide behind and told them in no uncertain terms what I think of your decision and re-iterated everything that WAS ALREADY ON THE FORM . . not to mention in the supporting documentation from ESA and our GP! and I do expect the next decision maker to spot the obvious flaws in your logic
Dont worry though as your plan to make sure the DLA dont have to pay any money out till after Christmas has worked as it will now be another 11 weeks (in my dreams) for your mates to 'reconsider' your decision. Thnks for making sure we have the entire christmas period to worry about where our mortgage payment is coming from you *expletive* as we've had to use every penny of our savings to cover your last 'decision time'SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Oh no that is awful. Feel for you both. DLA is a mindfield. My dad has to go through medicals and form filling all the time. He has something (can't pronounce it;s name) that is basically a tumour on his spine that affects walking, balance, memory and other things beside. Sending you hugs and feel free to rant. xxx[SIZE=2]SPC4 #1395 Aug 11 £135.75/£150

Oh Jakes-mum, that is so annoying. I hope you get what you deserve sooner rather than later.
Paid £200 off the CC last night, think £50 or so will get swallowed up on interest
Planning on paying more next month once xmas spends are out of the way.0 -

Jakes-Mum, sorry to hear that you're being messed about, I feel for anybody having to jump through hoops only to be let down by an inept pen pusher who is not only a waste of space and oxygen but a complete waste of the tax payers money . Stick with it Jakes-Mum you're a better person than they'll ever be and you'll get what you need in the end. Hoping Karma kicks butt and they'll get exactly what they need too!0 -
lol aww ty everyone, im not sure why I thought we would get any different to be honest as they did exactly the same to me when i first applied . . supposedly I was also able to walk unlimited but at the time I was housebound as I couldnt walk from the living room to the car parked right outside the front door :rotfl: I was very good and didnt shout at the poor lady on the phone, I always feel for them as its not them that have made these decisions, but are the ones who have to deal with very unwell and at times emotional callers asking why they've been declined.
Of course even worse is because I was so worked up about DH's DLA I totally forgot to ring the mortgage people to see if our mortgage help had now been sorted :rotfl: wonder if they are still open at this time of night
Still no debt payment as the bill isnt here yet and with all this going on, I might need the extra money to pay the mortgageSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000
