I'm so annoyed, I was going to take some clothes back to a certain cheap shop but couldn't find the receipt. I only went and found it yesterday, a few days past 28 days! It was only £16, but that's still £16!!
I found the receipt for a top over 28days too but checked in store and it's still full price so going to say I forgot the receipt and get a gift voucher instead if they'll let me. All tags are still on so they should be nice...
Well fingers crossed for your interview anyway hun xxx

I used to do quite a lot of ebaying, then ran out of steam. It just seems such a pain these days and as I'm pretty sorted on the way to DFness I just can't be asked anymore. But I still have some randoms items that could and should be ebayed. Maybe one of these days...
Jemma, good luck with the internet dating!
Pay day for me today! Another £280 off the debt

Not far to go anymore...
Awww thanks for the luck hun :A p.s. I love your debt free timeline thingy! Awesome!!! :TI check that they are unstained, no holes, not discoloured etc. If they meet the inspection then on they go
If you have some that have hardly been worn, pop them on, put in the listing that they have only been worn a few times/once/never and see how they do. Make sure you get a good clear picture and describe if its got a lace front or particularly pretty pattern to the back (as sometimes you just cant get the picture to show it).
They dont have to be designer etc, the last one I sold was M&S, ive also sold an unopened packet of Asda knickers before :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I would have worn them myself but they were a size 14 and at the time I was a size 8 :rotfl::rotfl:
oooooh interesting, although I have a bit of a dilema... I have about 15 hardly ever, IF ever, worn gorgeous lacey patterned expensive bras so I could sell these on fleabay HOWEVER, I am now internet dating so may need to keep them in case I get [STRIKE]lucky[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]drunk[/STRIKE], meet the man of my dreams :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Think I'll keep 2 back and sell the rest and if I meet someone then he can buy me some nice new ones! Hello All
New to the thread but hope it's ok to join in. I'm looking more for a motivation to save rather than clear debt as at the moment I only have £400 on a cc as debt. This will be cleared in the next couple of months and was only put on a card as I knew it would be cleared off quickly.
So any motivation you can give me to make me stop spending and get something saved would be great. I have also counted up my coin jar and at the moment there's £30 in there so will keep that as a sealed pot.
I would love the coin purse pattern if it's still available? Sorry can't remember who posted it, I've just read through the whole of this thread and the names are starting to blur.
RE the selling bras, I've done that quite a few times, always check that they are in a reasonable condition and try and describe them in as much detail as possible. Any defects, make sure you list them clearly such as slightly greyed etc. I find that they go rather well.
Hey shortstop, welcome to the team!!! I've put you on the debt busting list with £400 but once you've paid that off then I can add you to the savers list if you want? Just pick a total amount you want to have saved by Xmas 2012! Simples!Well the carp has hit the fan with hubby's family, oh well if that's the way they want to behave, so be it - I don't want any part of it.
Oh no hun, you guys ok?xxx
Woohoo - paid lots of bits off today - will tot them up soon and get my totals reduced. Just wanted to pop by and say I'm getting such a thrill watching my debts go down - possibly more so than the kick I got out of shopping in the first place

No more actually debt busting, although I do have £200 or so sitting in my paypal account waiting to be withdrawn. Another fifty or so going in over the weekend, and I can withdraw on Monday.
Just come back from a colleague's leaving do...does anyone else ever get tounge tied? She tells me that its been special to know me and work with me? I'm great with sarcastic retorts, but I struggle with sincerity. I have the eloquence and grace of the average 13 year old boy when responding to that, and whatever I did say was mumbled and moved straight on to the hug and the goodbye.
Anyhow, off to bed for me, it's my Saturday to work and my enthusiasm for the task is unbridled.DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

Yes, I also find it difficult to say anything with emotion (well except to you lot!) It's just not the done thing in our family which is why things go really t*ts up when we have something go wrong and have to be all emotional...
Anyway, hope work isn't too bad tomorrow xxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

Thanks, we're ok. Luckily they live quite a distance away from us!
I have confession, I spent quite a bit of money in A$da at the weekend on my CC, the one where I did a balance transfer from. Went with the intention of only spending my budgeted amount - £30 - but ended up spending £150!
Bit disappointed that I couldn't resist hubby saying - you might as well stock up the freezer, as it's pushed me back down on my %!
So, here it goes:

Well I hope you have your bras already on fleabay then or Jakes-mum will get you tomorrow! :rotfl:
Don't worry though hun, at least you've not wasted the money on rubbish. You have bought food that will keep so think of it as an investment and maybe cut your weekly budget down so you incorporate this frozen food in with only fresh stuff?New Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

I'm very lucky that Mr S and his family are great, very supportive of each other and when they get annoyed, it's only because they want the best for each other. It is very frustrating when you can see people taking the p!ss tho, especially when it's family. Hope things calm downBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16
