How did you decide to sell bra's though? Used bras? In what condition? I have quite a few that I don't wear and they are hardly used. Do they have to be fancy for people to buy them?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Tirlittan Please! Don't encourage her!:silenced:
Paid some money into current account this morning which I immediately rounded down to free up £45.50 for the cc. Think my problem in the past was to see that the debt was in the 1000s and only ever make big repayments when I could afford them. So

I check that they are unstained, no holes, not discoloured etc. If they meet the inspection then on they go
If you have some that have hardly been worn, pop them on, put in the listing that they have only been worn a few times/once/never and see how they do. Make sure you get a good clear picture and describe if its got a lace front or particularly pretty pattern to the back (as sometimes you just cant get the picture to show it).
They dont have to be designer etc, the last one I sold was M&S, ive also sold an unopened packet of Asda knickers before :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I would have worn them myself but they were a size 14 and at the time I was a size 8 :rotfl::rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
I should say the other thing that goes well on ebay is maternity wear, sold all mine after each kid and got back a good wedge of what I paid for themSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000

Hello All
New to the thread but hope it's ok to join in. I'm looking more for a motivation to save rather than clear debt as at the moment I only have £400 on a cc as debt. This will be cleared in the next couple of months and was only put on a card as I knew it would be cleared off quickly.
So any motivation you can give me to make me stop spending and get something saved would be great. I have also counted up my coin jar and at the moment there's £30 in there so will keep that as a sealed pot.
I would love the coin purse pattern if it's still available? Sorry can't remember who posted it, I've just read through the whole of this thread and the names are starting to blur.
RE the selling bras, I've done that quite a few times, always check that they are in a reasonable condition and try and describe them in as much detail as possible. Any defects, make sure you list them clearly such as slightly greyed etc. I find that they go rather well.One Step at a time0
