Fallen - congratulations, that is excellent news :j!
Kerri - OHs can be useful sometimes. Maybe you could keep track of how much money you make through the sewing and put a portion of that into a separate savings fund.
My work has managed to accidentally pay everyone a week early. I also got some money back from my sis that she owed me, so I'm paying an extra £100 off the credit card. Doesn't seem like much, but it wasn't expected so I'm happy.

Hello everyone! Sorry for the silence the last few days. I have been popping in to read the thread, but haven't had the time to post. Plus I haven't been able to make any payments which is a bummer. But not long till pay day.
I have been spending a bit of time updating my spreadsheet and my snowball debt calculator. As I seem to take one step forwards and two back. I feel like I haven't been realistic with my totals and I'm being too ambitious with my totals. So, when things go a bit wrong I give up! Therefore I have decided to be more realistic with my timescale and what I can actually afford. I'm still aiming to pay off my DFBX12 which I am on track for. But it has pushed out my DFD by about 9 months.
I'm hoping that by being realistic and true to myself then I can keep on the road without too many slip up's.
Does that make sense?
In other news, I have decided that the watch will go, but after a friend's wedding as she has borrowed it for her something borrowed! So, that will be listed next week. I have one other thing on ebay which has got bids, but not got to the reserve. Fingers crossed it sells!
Hope everybody is enjoying this glorious weather.October make £10/day currently £11.020 -
An update from me one day early as I'm off to Spain tomorrow. A few DD's gone out & my OD almost paid off :T:T

Drawing out all the cash I needed for the month really seemed to work. All this kids activity money was seperated & put in a seperate purse & I really surprised myself in not borrowing anything from it. Its payday tomorrow & I still have a couple of pounds in the purse so its definately the way forward.

Kerri - my DH points out things like that too. Psychopathbabble made a good suggestion about selling your jewellery making things to save towards a sewing machine. They are so handy. I've hardly used mine to make things since my DD was born 4years ago but it gets used so much fixing things, altering things etc that it is still worth keeping while I get up the motivation to start making things again.
Jemma so glad things are a bit calmer with you.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Had some great news on Tuesday that OHs Mam has been given a full clear from her cancer (she was diagnosed Jan 18th (my birthday) 2011 with bowel cancer) after a rough year of treatment including being massively overdosed with chemo. So when I see her tomorrow I'm going to give her the biggest hug everNever been so happy.
fallenwiccan - Great news about your OH's Mam. :T
Well done all those peeps that have just made some more payments, there was a little bit of a run then :rotfl:
ETA: I just mentioned on another thread that last night I was sat watching Real Housewives of Vancouver whilst I was trying to figure out my money jars as I've recently had to pinch from Peter to pay Paul when I realised that the very fact that I can't get money jars to balance is why I live the life I live and why they live they life they live. Harumph! How the other half live eh. :rotfl:0 -

Or make more jewellery to sell in order to make money? Do you want to make much money from the stash? A friend of mine is getting into jewellery making so she might want to buy some of it... if you are on facebook then add her selling pagehttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100003785118895&ref=ts
