Kerfuffle - it was sooo annoying. Looks like it'll go in bootsale box & prob sell for 50p. Unless i naughtily stick it back on for buy it now. Probs shouldn't!

His Missus - I was wondering whether you'd solve the garlic bread issue :)

Kerfuffle - massive congratulations on the baby boy

Jemma, craft fair is this weekend. Sinuses are still a bit dodgy when the pollen plays up, but I'm feeling a whole lot better now thank you for asking. I hope you droooooled at Robert Downey Jr.

I'm shattered this evening, very long day didn't get home until an hour ago! OH has just gone off to tell his Mum on Skype that we're moving in together :) Thank you to everyone who congratulated me for getting him to commit :)

I've skim read through and can't remember half of what was said, something about gone off food, dodgy SMs and that Jakes-Mum would never throw out a box of cereal that was a few months out of date :p

I have one week until payday, I wonder how much I can scrimp this month. I am trying to be the next 100%-er

My main gripe is that they sold me a box of cereal at full price, which they had put on the normal shelf (rather than a reduced section) that was out of date. If im going to buy out of date/near date food I want it reduced and I want to decide to do so.

Take your point, definately not on, it's okay if you know what your getting and it's discounted but this is quite another thing. You have the full backing and support of the Bongle-troups in your complaint. :D

I keep my spuds in a special bag I bought from lake land that keeps them fresh for longer - it doesn't work though :rotfl:

Yup I've tried the mushroom bag, the potato bag and the onion bag none of them actually work

Right, I managed to get up to page 67 so will return tomorrow...

Camuk81 – hey, how are you feeling now? Is there anything we can help you with or just listen?

Mrs Addicted to Spending – wise words! Even an overpayment of £1 will make a difference to your debt. It’s great that you haven’t lost your drive to pay your debt off no matter how long it takes. Lovely post!

Dolly Rocker – I totally understand about your surgery hun, I paid for surgery about 10 yrs ago as I was incredibly unhappy with something that I was bullied for all through childhood/teenage years and even though it put me into more debt, I have never ever remotely regretted my decision and it has been the best thing in the world for me. I’m sure it will be for you too hun. Congrats on your half a stone too!!!!!

Ruthy1604 – I agree, it’s so tough to keep up the motivation when life throws curve balls at you, but I also agree that we are all in this together and will help each other to get there! I’m really impressed that you’ve no food waste in your house, it’s a big weakness of mine and it’s an absolutely stupid waste of money that could be spent on me! I hope you’ve made up with your OH. Well done about the money from your folks, can’t wait to see your new total once you’ve included the figure! x

Superheavy – at least staying in on a Saturday night to do freelance work will make you money, I was re-potting peas!!! Well done on your payment, I wish I could overpay my loan cos then I’ve paid more off my capital too.... Alas, all my money is having to go into an ISA until I can pay it off in full....

Psychopathbabble – OF COURSE we’ll be celebrating with you!!!! Any more news on your hospital appointment hun? Any cancellations?

SpagBol – wow, how amazing will it feel to have that £800 extra for you to spend on what you want and don’t have to give a cut to the fat cats in the banks!!! What is your goal for the Christmas this year hun? (I don’t mean the £58k you pledged in the challenge, more just wondering how much you actually want to get down to by Xmas?) Do you think you’ll be in the £30k’s???? How amazing would that be! How come there’s such a delay from the tax office?! I submitted my mileage claim on 18th April and I got my cheque last Saturday! Fab news that your friends are supporting you in the no eating out/takeaways thing, it shows that they are true friends who like you for being you.

Minicooper272 – loved your post about paying off your CC again. I’ve done this so many times! Can you cut it up or put it in the freezer or give it to your parents to stop you from using it again? I’m glad the separate account is working, it’s really a great idea to keep bills and spending money in different places! Oh and congrats for getting over the 10% milestone!!!!!!!!!

Nctmum – what did you decide to do about the PPI reclaiming???

Barbeduk – your hip hop/breakdance festival comment made me giggle! You are soooooo close 90% and soooooo close to being debt free!!! Will you be our 3rd member to reach the Honours Board???? How’s your urge to spend going?

BrandNewStart – loved your post about cycling with the much older gentleman, he sounds like a great person to talk to. Well done for going and I’d be really chuffed (and probably unconscious!) after 60 miles...

Jakes-mum – thanks again for the tips on ebaying...one day I’ll get off my lazy behind and do some!

Mumof3plusoh – such a lovely heartfelt post hun, thank you xxx

His missus - come on girl, get yourself to that Zumba class!!! The first time is the scariest but once you’re there you’ll really enjoy it and feel proud of yourself.

Canucksfan – I love that you guys have 2 Mothers Days but there’s only 1 Fathers Day!!! I can’t believe how fast you’re getting rid of your debt, AWESOME!!!!

Affordmylife – hitting the 50% milestone will be a brilliant feeling as it’s all downhill from there. How old will your son be on Friday, wish him a happy birthday! I’m definitely with you with the center parcs, I’ve never been but love to go but it’s rather expensive! It’s going to be my treat after I become debt free as I’ve heard they have spa’s....

Kerfuffle – I think it’s an amazing achievement that you had no debt before you left the UK and you’ve not added to the debt you incurred by emigrating! Big pat on the back there!

Loubie_lou – oh no, you’ve not had much luck at all with that hire car from start to finish! Glad you had a good time in Brighton despite it and didn’t spend too much.

Jemma, fair play I have to say you're flippin amazing catching up with everything that's going on.

Once you catch up with what happened in March you'll be less than two months behind! ;-)

Sorry...mischief and the sheer amount of activity on the thread overtook me! Took mum out for her birthday dinner tonight, ready to pay with the card, and their card machine was broke. So she paid for her own birthday dinner, and half of mine, as I only had about a fiver on me.

    How MSE is that!?!
    DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!
