I think it should work but wondered if anyone has actually done it. I do have another ISA with NW - 3 year FRISA which matures in December but it doesn't accept transfers in.

I handed in a form last Saturday to transfer hubby's ISA from Halifax to his flexclusive. Nothing has happened yet, I am guessing they will contact him if there is a problem rather than just not doing anything. Will give it another week and if nothing doing then he'll phone and see if all okay.

I have had an email reply from the FOS regarding my case. Unfortunately, still not one that contains any information.

Apparently the person originally investigating my complaint has "recently changed roles in the organisation". So the case was reallocated to a new guy who presumably had to start from scratch.

The email says he tried to phone me last Friday, 1 March. Yes, I did have a call from a hidden number on that date. My phone is set to automatically reject calls from hidden numbers. Businesses should ensure their telephone systems are set up to provide the number - even if they only show the switchboard number and not the actual extension calling. We do have caller ID technology these days!

He has now sent me a written reply instead, which frankly is what I prefer. I don't want to be told stuff on the phone where I can't remember everything. Give me the information in writing. He never actually tried to call me again - apparently one attempt was enough and it then took him another week to get around to writing. Better still, why not just tell me in the email rather than sending me an email to tell me he has sent a letter??!!

Apparently the letter went in the post yesterday. I had hoped I would get it today but nothing has arrived. I guess I might actually get some info on Monday ...

    What useless service.

Just had a reply to my email to NW confirming that it is perfectly ok to use the Online Banking facility to transfer from my Online ISA Issue 3 to my Flexclusive ISA issue 1.. If I wish to close the Issue 3 completely, thats when you need to fill in the consolidation form.

I have just closed down two Online ISAs with transfer to Flexclusive ISAs - all online - and it has all been completed correctly.

I posted the form to NW to transfer a Halifax ISA to Flexclusive too. A few days later, said Halifax ISA disappeared from my Halifax online banking. The money's not been added to the Flexclusive yet, but NW obviously have acted on my request by sending it on to Halifax, so that's hopeful.

I've just come across this thread. I opened this account last April and thought it didn't accept transfers-in, this thread seems to be suggesting otherwise. Can someone please confirm?

This would at least be somewhere to house my ISA funds until 31 October. Is there any chance we can deposit new money from 5 April?

There always was the option to deposit new money throughout the life of the account, up to your annual ISA limit.

Just handed in my external transfer form at a branch on the Strand in London. Double checked specifically if I could transfer into the Flexcusive ISA and the lady said yes no problem and asked me to write in the account number.
She started to enter it online into their system right away so will keep an eye out to see if it's successful or not.

It wasn't clear to me until this thread that I could transfer in or that I could use this same Flexcusive ISA for my 2013 allocation.

Love these forums as a resource!

So what is everyone who hold this account plans for this ISA season?

I have a HSBC current account so was thinking of paying in the full amount into NWBS ISA. Then to 'open' HSBC Cash e-ISA (2.75% on > £15k) with a ISA past year transfer of just £1 from NWBS. Come rate drop (October) on the NWBS account I will transfer the entire lot over.

To be on the safe side might also do the same with Cheshire BS ISA Saver Issue 1 (2.5%) which includes a bonus of 2% for 1 year as the HSBC one might also drop during the year.

I can't even believe I'm talking about rates of 2.x% this year! (At least adjusting the rate it 'to get the same amount on a tax paying account' takes it over 3%)
