isn't the guarantee of 1.5% above BoE rate until January 2014 only? The rate can plummet after that?..I don't see the point of guaranteeing 1.5% above base rate for 3/4months. If thats true, then its quite silly.
Yes January, but not even 3 months of guarantee, it's only til 1st Jan:
" ☑ A variable rate of 4.25% AER tax-free including an introductory fixed rate bonus of 2.25% until 31 October 2013
☑ Includes the reassurance of a Rate Promise to pay at least 1.50% above the Bank of England Base Rate until 1 January 2014 and will track changes in the Base Rate. Any changes will be made within one month of a BoE announcement. "0 -
I have a Nationwide ISA which matured today and the rate has dropped to 0.25%. I wanted to transfer it to my Flexclusive ISA but it doesn't show up in the dropdown list of accounts so I can't do it. Can't get to my branch until next week to get a consolidation form by which time they will probably changed the rules again!0

if i was you, i would ring them and tell them what you want to do,the nationwide isa team told me to to go into the nationwide and fill the form out, and not to move it on line,0

I've sent my form off this morning by 1st Class.
As far as I know any T&C change requires at least 1 months notice if it is going to have an adverse impact on the account holder.0 -
They can't change the T&Cs when they feel like it and indeed, they have not changed the T&Cs for this account. They are as they were at the beginning. The difference is that they are now following their own T&Cs!0
