Yes, but that's for normal people. Some people want to get the interest rate from the earliest possible date.
Funnily enough, I was going to put in the whole amount straight away but on the day I opened the ISA, the AA's banking system was down so I couldn't get access to the money.

In the end I opened it with the £2 coin I had in my pocket and will transfer the rest once I get my internet banking details through the post. :D

I am afraid, your statements are only - partially - correct if anyone paid by cheque on the Saturday. Due to the website design at Nationwide, I cannot link directly to the Flexclusive ISA T&Cs but if you got to this page, you can click on the T&Cs on the right.

Many (if not all) people paid in from their Flexaccount. Any money that was ready to be transferred into the ISA from the Flexaccount on Saturday April 7 should have been credited the same day. And interest will be paid from the same day, too.

My post was in response to one saver who clearly did not pay by bank transfer. Additionally, anyone paying cash into their new flexclusive ISA on a non-business day would not see that credit showing on the account until the next business day.

Oh dear. You are making a habit of passing off wrong info about this account.
    T&Cs 12:
"Cash and automated credits deposited into the account will earn interest from the date of the deposit."

I really don't know where you got your information from. It's not in line with the T&Cs, or with how people got their money credited.

I don't have a sticker, just the Nationwide logo. Is this a cause for concern?

Any other telephone applicants received a 'Signature record' form to be duly signed and returned, which I assume refers to this ISA although the form says "Thank you for choosing a Nationwide Bond"?
3 pages of T&C's were included (covering bonds, saver accounts and ISAs).

Are you saying the passbook came along with the signature record form? Mine didn't so I can't send it back as I don't know the account number. Yes it says Bond 4 times on the form (5 when I sign it!)

You just have to take the passbook into a branch and sign on the inside cover with some 'special paper' so that the signature can be read under UV light.

It appears different for people such as me that applied via phone. We have an sae to return the signature form in which is then scanned.

The passbook came separately and arrived first. I just wondered if the Signature form referring to 'Nationwide Bond' was the correct form or parhaps had been sent in error. I don't recall it being mentioned on the phone when I applied.

Has anyone's account appeared online yet? Just curious.

I have received the paperwork today by post - but no passbook enclosed! Still not showing online either.
