This might be an indication of when the interest shows for this ISA too..
Then again it could be wildly wrong if there is completely different program(s) used.
I just love typing me.
Edit - 21:30hrs came, the interest on the C/A was paid and nothing in the ISA. Sorry for the misinformation!
You're keen, knowing the exact time interest goes into an account. I suppose you check via you mobile phone not stuck in front of the computer."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -
Yes very nice to get such a high interest indeed.
In March, i was struggling to think of where to put my previous few years ISA which was maturing in a Santander 3.5%. So it was perfect timing to find out about this ISA now allowing transfer.
I'm jealous! Don't know how I missed transferring into that one."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -
Very pleased to see that the interest backdating of transferred money was handled correctly. In fact, there's £5 more than I expected in there, probably due to me missing a day at the start or end of my calculations.
One more month and then down to 2%.0 -
Yes DQ I've just been trying to do that calculation. Amount A from 1/10/12 - 09/01/13 , amount B from 10/01/13 - 05/04/13 and amount C from 06/04/13 - 30/09/13 I think but I gave in! Anyway the result is just over £700 for me.0

Assuming you used your max allowance in both years and transferred in around £11k, then Nationwide were right in the interest calculation.0 -

No i meant i transferred from the Santander 3.5% to this Nationwide ISA once they had to start allowing transfers. before that i was unsure where i would put the funds.0 -

Next question?
And breathe.....
Really sorry I wasted your time with my questions.
I won't do it ever again.0 -
Have you got access to my account or have you been stalking me?!!!!!! You are right though.
Seeing as you paid in your 2013/14 allowance on 6th April, you are clearly a keen saver ... so it seemed a reasonable assumption that this was for the full allowance.
And if you paid in the full amount in 2013/14, you probably also did in 2012/13 as well.
So your balance on 1 October 2013 would have been ~£5,700 ... and an £11k transfer is the only way the maths would work to give the correct amount of interest.0 -
October 31 is approaching, where the interest start to drop. Where will you put your NW cash ISA ?
I have Leeds Building Society which has 2.55% but I juts called them and they confirmed I will not allowed to transfer the old ISA ?
Top up is only for new ISA money >
Is there any other ISA with a decent interest left ?
