    Mortgage-free Glee!
    Hi all,

Have been a bit under the weather the last few days, but today I worked with OH to pack up a few boxes into the back of our cars ready to take to my house this weekend - mainly DVDs and books.

Advert is in the local paper this week for the wheelie bins. They will go on freecycle if I can't sell them.

The feather cape has sold on eBay, which is good because it was sitting on top of the wardrobe doing little.

I will list my motorbike gear this weekend - leathers, boots, helmet, etc. They should sell well.

Also need to fill some bags of clothes for the charity shops.

Have a good decluttering weekend all.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

am yet to make a start today, had to go to uni for the class photograph, then went to the bar for a few goodbye bevvies with everyone. am acquiriing a taste for bulmers - never realised cider could taste so nice *hic* :D

yesterday i succeeded in clearing my desk and getting all outstanding paperwork together ready to be tackled bit by bit over the coming weeks. i also cleared my desk... only to promptly cover it again with clothes to dontae to to the charity shop. couldnt face more filing so i started to tackle the wardrobe instead. i can now open it without risk of death :D i will get round to the other clothes cupboards in due course. i have also nearly filled a bin bag with junk that can go.

feeling pretty tired today (think its the come down from exams) so not sure if i will get much, if anything, done. i have at least started, which is half the battle.

    Morning All :p

Meant to update last night but it completely slipped my mind even though I was on the forum most of the evening

Anyhoo, out yesterday: 14 Kids videos to a girl at work for her sons.

Also have people interest in buying Master system + Games and Mega Drive + Games and if I hear back from them and they agree the the price I've offered then I'll make £40.00.

Today and tomorrow I'm on a mission (as I'm off work):

Firstly, I need a new Vax as mine has packed and I also have a council tax bill to be paid so hoping to make enough money to cover both by selling stuff, will pay councial tax first and put the remainder with the argos vouchers my mother has said she'll get me for my birthday. On with the list ...
    • Finish sorting out all my stuff in the spare room
    • List all the stuff on Ebay that is to be sold
    • Take stuff to the charity shop (currently 1 box of videos and 3 binbags of clothes and soft toys)
    • List the computer desk and 4 computer montitors we don't need
    • Sort out all cupboards and drawers in kitchen as they are bursting atm
    • Sort out all debt letters as I've fallen well behind in recent months then update my debt thread and plan etc
    • Write to the student loan company to reclaim the £70+ they overcharged me last tax year (not decluttering I know but if it's on the list I'll remember to do it!)

Afternoon all. I have spent ages doing my sons room this week and have found loads of stuff to sell.

Today I am going to :-

Tidy round and clean all 4 rooms downstairs (shouldnt take too long as I have been keeping on top of them).

Clear the landing of all the stuff I took out of my sons room.

Clean/Tidy bathroom (again shouldnt take too long)

Then time to tackle son and daughters wardrobes of all the stuff that is now too small for them - this will probably take the longest to do so will probably finish that tomorrow.

Wish me luck with that little lot! x x

Luck - think you might need a 'power pack' on your back to do all that!!

Me - I am still in pj's - OH has gone on a sponsored 10 mile for charity - which, yes is very good of him to do his bit, but !!!!in' hell this place needs CLEANED and for me to mention it is me being a 'nag'.

After 7 weeks off sick I return to work on Tuesday and frankly I am worried sick about how I am going to keep house in order and work again.

OH is a baker and works from home. Hygienically A1 but he is a messy pup! and leaves everything at his !!!. Over last couple months I have tried to declutter and get a groove going on how to keep on top of it all but he is just a nightmare - his mess is the start of every arguement/discussion/heated debate.

We do have someone starting to convert our garage into an industrial kitchen in July which will get him out of the house and I know July is not far away but thinking of how it is going to be until then just gets me down - am I a silly to feel 'depressed' that I live in a s@@t heap
