I've spent a good part of this evening scanning in LOADS of old documents (university assignments, tax letters etc), saving them all onto a CD and shredding the paper. Top of the wardrobe has lost the big ugly cardboard archive box now and I just have to get rid of the waste. Oh, and the piles of poly pockets and file holders too... should be OK to take them to work and leave them lying in somewhere tempting like the staff room!

All in all a good bit of work, even if it was boring!

I sorted some stuff out to ebay and then found my camera battery was flat.

So sorted through and texted my sister to ask if she wants some of it (she's smaller than me) - will drop some off to her tomorrow.

I have just recently decluttered but haven't had the time to sit down and photograph the items I wanted to sell. I off for two from tomorow, maybe i could fit it in my list of things to do...

    Hi everyone,

I have just got back from what was meant to be 1 weeks holiday at Haven Seashore in Great Yarmouth but extended it to 2 weeks.
So I have had 2 weeks of Sun :j , Sea :T and ... .......... .......... Sanity !!!! As i had no clutter - You cant have any clutter in a caravan. :rotfl:

This week I will be Washing, Ironing and putting away all the stuff I took on holiday and never used  - which is the story of my life :wall: which is why i will be de-cluttering for ever.

I am in holiday mode at the moment and so I am collecting tokens in The Sun to hopefully have another cheap holiday/break (although i have never done it this way so im hoping it will be money saving.)

I also know that it is my flat and where i live and the clutter i have that depresses me as i felt so much better in a caravan without all the clutter and junk surrounding me, so i want to try and stay motivated but will be starting my new aims/goals next week.

I'm glad everyone is still decluttering, and I am still trying to tidy, but it is hard in this lovely weather to discipline yourself to be indoors.

Went through a box yesterday and found a compact, and when I checked on Ebay the last one like it sold for £87  so will be listing that today. Knowing my luck, mine will sell for £4.99 :rotfl:

I will keep you posted ...

  • Hi Charlies_mum - a compact what??? Good luck with that!
  • Hi everyone, Have joined the Good Enough thread as well as that is also about getting on top of the housework. Have started on the cupboard under the stairs. Cleared out amazing amount of stuff in 15 minutes. I'm going to do another 15 minutes soon.

A powder compact with a mirror - you are obviously far too young to remember them :rotfl:
