Now, how to I organise them in some sort of order ?? Do I do it by year ???

How do other folk do it ?
Here's how *I* do it. I put them in themed scrapbooks (Me & DH, Trips, Niece, etc). But the Scrapbooks aren't very complicated (Though I make those as well!), just one big pucture and small ones (or cropped ones) around them. The rest are filed away in shoe boxes, organised chronologically. Or by theme.

HTH, of course it's only my way of doing it, I'm a Scrapper.

Oh damn, just missed last orders Pigpen! :D

Photos - I won't even begin to go into them just yet! Today I managed to declutter a big box of paperwork, which is a real achievement for me, and create files for everything in the filing cabinet. One box down, several hundred to go... :D

All but one of my auctions are ending this evening, ooh exciting!

30 on the go, 11 with bids totalling £58.84 :D Target is £64 which would bring me up to £200 for the month. Quite honestly I'm amazed I've managed to find another £200(ish) worth this month!

Obviously I'm going to have a few things left over unsold. Anything with zero watchers I'm going to give away, and anything that has watchers I'll probably hold onto until next promo listing day and try again. Most things have to be worth one reslist surely? What do you guys think?

Mellika, I've always thought scrapbooking was a lovely hobby to have. I bet your books are lovely. For my son I've kept every event/entrance ticket or travel ticket he's ever had and put those into albums for him. Wish I'd done the same for myself when I started travelling years before :p

Bails, well done! Sounds like a great job yesterday, and you'll get there! As long as you have more going out than coming in (haha, sounds like one of those dodgy adverts for a loan company).

Every time I post on this thread I look around the house for something else to "sort out" and there just isn't anything... don't get me wrong it's great! But very strange!

Every time I look round my house I think 'cripes - where do I start'.

Good luck with your Ebay sales tonight - when I do list auctions I find them so exciting, I wonder if that feeling ever wears off?

I sell the odd book on Buy It Now so that 'buzz' is not there.

Might be listing some items later in the week via Auctiva, that way I can start preparing over the weekend and have them upload automatically on Thursday for a Sunday finish. OH has done lots of photos for me so I have no excuse :(

Not where I went, they are serving until 2am! though last night they had snail staff on and I even complained about them being morons and not listening to what we wanted and taking forever to serve people and work out change.

£53 on ebay now.. :D.. half a fire!! lol

No.. it hasn't for me yet.. I've been selling for about 8 years and I still love that buzz watching bids rise and stuff shift!

I think my favourite thing is seeing an individual item really take off unexpectedly, I have one like that now which was a DVD that came free with something else I bought. It's up to £16! I know that's not a fortune but I listed it at 99p and thought I'd be lucky if it sold at all.

I love the final minutes too, watching the prices go up each time you refresh! Haha!

mellika - love the idea of scrapbooking.............bit daunting at the minute though.........I've so many albums to go through. Can't face it today, my heads still going round from yesterday. Who'd have thought a little task like that would wear me out. Well it has. So, for today, I'm being totally idle (apart from making a card for a friend).
Have you got any photos of your scrapbooks to give me an idea where to start ? Nearest I've really got to that has been decorating the front page of my family history folders............for Mums ancestors its all old fashioned cobbling stuff as they were all shoemakers...........Dads side were farm workers. Dads got a file all his own and he was a musician so his first page is all old musical stuff. Would love some ideas on how to do the photos.
