As of today, I am on holiday for 10 days, going to put my feet up tonight and write out a list of what i've to do then i'm going to get stuck in. DH will be at work all week except for weekends so should be able to get rid of some of the stuff he's hoarded over the years

  • angela your house looks beautiful, good luck with your house sale, although once youve got them there i'm sure it will be sold!! I remember eight years ago when we sold our first house, we spent £100 pounds and a weekend decluttering cleaning depersonalising before the house went on the market , and after we were finished, i was like 'it's gorgeous, i don't want to sell'. We did, and sold to the first person who viewed it for full asking price:D (although the agent wanted to lead us into a full bidding war!!) i learnt a HUGE lesson, that i clutter leads to cluttered minds (well thats what i tell my brood of hoarders!!) Well done angela!! Love Sharron

    Angela,

Your house looks gorgeous - I'm sure it will be snapped up (unless you have hidden all the clutter in cupboards and it falls onto viewers heads when they open doors ) :D

    Hi Angela,
May I ask what's baking in your oven in that picture? It looks like some delicious bread? Could I have a recipe?
The house is absolutely beautiful BTW.

    Meli xx

Yep, its my Old Style bloomer baking in the oven!!!! Trust MSE fans to spot it! It wasn't deliberate - promise! I just use the recipe in the bread maker instruction booklet, although used two parts granary and one part white flour and I mix my own seed mix from a health food shop. The seed mix is pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and millet. I started by buying a mixed bag, but its cheaper to buy them separately and mix it all yourself.

Thanks so much everyone for your kind words - it really makes a difference to get feedback from neutral minds!

Pressure is on now to keep it at its show home status.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

Oooh thanks for the tip! I don't have a breadmaker so won't be able to ask for the full recipe, but surely I can top ANY loaf with mixed seeds?
