So did I and I'm really glad I did.
This is what I bought:
4 packs of batteries
4 SA tikka masala (the elusive ones had just been re-stocked)
2 pints milk
Sellotape RTC (thanks OP)
2 reduced mugs - in white, says "his mug" in blue and "her mug" in red. RTC 77p each. they are goin in the Xmas cupboard for stocking fillers.
A pizza express pizza
Total cost £36.36.
(then SA discount £12, JTD of £3.95)
Total to pay £20.42. And off I trot to CS for my batttery DTD of £17.88.
Grand total of £2.54 :j
Plus, I beat my own personal best womble from yesterday. got a corker of a womble for £125. BUT the final number 4 digit number to input in poop checker is missing/ripped from the till
Think it starts in a 5. What should I do? Just take a guess and worst case, i have to input from 1 - 100. It's got a CC on so i dont really want to ask CS to re-print.
I didn't go far as O/H wanted picking up from work (made him bring bin bags to put over the seats and on the floor) as he was wet and grassy :rotfl: I did however get loads of mens gloves for 4p also wombled several receipts best was 141 points and a £3 off £20 spend will post the gloves pic next0 -

If you are able to give blood, you should. It doesn't hurt much and you might just help to saved someone's life :-)
I've always wanted to give blood but they don't want mine! Mind you, after the amount a nurse takes out of me for tests every week, I'm probably running a bit low on the stuff myself!

Was the Gillette something you got a DTD in store with, if so then its not a total disaster.
I had problems with nutrigrain bars and JTD bought in Tesco when there was a price difference before
So its not something I'd risk buying again.
I know for a fact that most of the varieties in Asda are £1 per pack. There are 2 versions that are full price though. I've bought one of these versions in Asda with a load of other shopping and it was price matche dwith Sainsburys where they are on BOGOFtigerwhite wrote: »My 2 poop checkers came back from yesterday
the £88 wombled was cheaper in A (but i'll still add the CC points)

Sorry...

Thanks to mymerrywidow, lutzi1 and saversavvy123 for your helpful comments re school admissions. Will definitely look into if anyone else near me is going to the same school in case of opportunity to taxi/car share. I'm not sure what our chances are for appeal as we are not in direct catchment area (although at the time of application they said they didn't have one as they took kids from all over - they have been low-subscription for several years) and we don't have siblings or SEN to help with that. I think our best shot will be to go on the waiting list and hope that some of the second choices that got that school appeal and get their top choice as a result leaving some space for us to take their spot. Will enquire about appeals tho just in case and if it seems a possibility then I may PM you supersavvy if that's ok?

The whitby works fine. If you buy prawns it's best to get in 12's (with 12 30p coupons). Works out 61p a bag. I didn't realise this hadn't been said. I've got a freezer full of Whitby prawns, scampi bites and goujons that I got in various combinations. Today I got x2 prawns x6 goujons and x8 scampi.
Did you use any of the price flop coupons. If so how many and did you go through ss. ThanksI am a Dolphin Angel:A
