Afternoon all
Well that was an interesting experience. Went to Mr S and had more success their than Mr T. Used two voucher for the handwash okay:T:T
then went to Tesco to use a JTD £1.35 from a womble. Noticed the sausages still £2.19. Scanned them and it came up as £4:eek: DTD I thought. Used the JTD and bought them, went to CS and the guy went and had a look on his own. He didn't ask me to come, came back and said I had bought the wrong ones:eek::eek::mad::mad: I said let me look:D
some idiot had put the 6 packs on the shelf:mad::mad: I hadn't noticed and i expect many other shoppers haven't either. Very cheeky!! I asked for a full refund and left. I was tempted to actually take a picture of it. Told the SA down the aisle who did nothing. I was saying that's the wrong product:mad: shouldn't be there.
Sorry for my rant.0 -

littleladybug wrote: »Afternoon Elite,
So, results are in on the schools and we didn't get in to the one we wanted. Looks like I'm going to be doing a lot of driving come September. Feel absolutely gutted. My hubby thinks I'm being over-dramatic as it is still better than ending up with a closer school that we really didn't want but it just bothers me having to travel 25 mins 4 x a day for the school run. Then we've got play dates etc which are prob going to be harder too as other kids parents aren't going to want to come all the way over to us to pick up/drop off their kids. The stupid thing is, is that people who put my first choice school down as second choice have got it yet we put it down top and haven't got it.
Anyway, thought I'd try to online Tesco order to cheer myself up and it won't accept the £10 off so that was a waste of time too.
Hey-ho - think I'll head out to T's in a bit. Think I'll try getting the Chokablok icecreams to cheer myself up!
Sorry to hear this Littleladybug, is there an opportunity to appeal. My DS did not get into our first choice school at first so I appealed and managed to get him in, was easier then for DS2 as he was a sibling. If you need any info on appeals let me know I bought a great PDF online to help me as I didn't have a clue where to start.If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -

Afternoon all, I've had an fruitful day.
First T's I found more SA chilli so took 4 and left 4.
Then I managed to find a 'Rainbow trout'. (DD loves rainbows) Anyway he was so helpful to check see that my BOGOF batteries hadn't come off :rotfl:. Bless him he went out of his way to make sure I was charged right. So that's a return I'll have to do.
Second T's I found plenty of suspenct 4p items that some CS had torn all the barcodes off. :mad: I took about 15 different items to SS with one that had a barcode. I decided to try my arm. I told the lady that they were all in clearence and she let me scan the 4p item for all of them. :j
The whitby works fine. If you buy prawns it's best to get in 12's (with 12 30p coupons). Works out 61p a bag. I didn't realise this hadn't been said. I've got a freezer full of Whitby prawns, scampi bites and goujons that I got in various combinations. Today I got x2 prawns x6 goujons and x8 scampi.
Oh and lastly hello to the couple behind me at CS getting DTD bats in W$th. Who I then walked past in the second T's :rotfl:. I hope you had a successful trip too.
Oh and I actually managed to find a couple of half decenct wonbles for a change.0 -
Mr 3Dogs has some fantastic hats there! :T:T
Especially liking the first one!:rotfl::rotfl:
