I think that's what I should do. But I don't want to put my DVD's on eBay for them not to sell and be stuck with them as I can't see me using large letter stamps for anything else. I bought 6 ordinary 2nd class stamps the other day and it will take me years to use them.:rotfl:0 -
Here's another one, they're from a farm we used to spend almost every day at because DS was, and still is, animal crazy
The best thing was the chickens and the names he gave them, we had chickens with hats (big feathers on their heads), ones with trousers (feathers down their legs) and ones with both. Worked out cheaper to pay for annual pass but because we'd been there so regularly they gave us it for half priceSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

If anyone sees
The bogoff strawberrys on whoopsie the bogoff still works
Sent from my iPhone inside my strawberry castle
this made me giggle - I was stood debating whether or not to buy some reduced strawbs last week and the produce manager was nearby talking to one of the SA and he was telling her a customer had told him earlier in the day that the bogof still works - as I was close enough I said thanks for the info and we all had a giggle about it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I'm looking for a bit of advice...
My DD's laptop is dying and she needs it for her uni assignments.
She doesn't really use it for much else as she has an iphone which she uses for internnet etc.
I'm thinking of treating her to a replacement but don't want to spend a fortune.
Where is the best place for a cheapie lappie?
Would anyone recommend buying one 2nd hand ...if so what should I be looking to pay?
There were refurbished ones on hukd the other day
£65
From here I think

Would do just for uni work, anything else and they would need upgrading. Some have no hdd so would be no good.0 -

So who else stocked up on Sellotape?:rotfl:0

Just remembered something else
Popped into Asda to look at the reductions and when I was going through checkout the woman in front of me spent over £100, now as she was paying ( by card) the checkout operator asked her for her postcode and then inputted it to till , not sure why and never heard of it before....
So was wondering if it was for security to check against the card or do you think they may be recording it for APG purposes???
Other than that nothing else to report lol.
Thanks again to everyone for their posts...:D
They often do this - think they like to gather info on how far customers travel to the store (at least I think that was what it was as I asked once but it was awhile ago) think they did it more when the store had just opened0 -
So I dashed round 4 T's today in the hope of 4p items, and I found a grand total of 1 pair of gloves, and 2 wolly hats. Makes me wonder if I was LURKED, I hope that Bookworm63 or Ilovemykids got them instead.
I found crop pjs from £9.50, marked at £7, scanned at £2 - they were in a plastic bag packing, and have a sleeveless blue top saying 'Love late nights' - bar code ends 3807. hopefully by the time it's warm enough to wear them I will fit into them!!!
Also found a gorgeous 21cm square bronze vase on a clearance section, no SEL, scanned at 95p - bar code ends 3668. They also had 1 in red, and 1 in green, but I didn't like those as much and they were about £2.50.
Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but in the Homeplus most of the face cloths were down to 25p, and Aubergine bath mats for £2.11. I also saw cheap black bath mats somewhere (also £2 ish), but I can't remember which store!
Got a few bits of fruit & veg for 70% off to restock the new fridge. As I am having a day of SW I had a fab dinner of whoopsied 15p flatbread & 25p coleslaw, followed by a whoopsied Finest Millionaire dessert.0
