On the Coupon thread, experienced posters are saying that the Palmolive coupon should not be used because it has been pulled. People using coupons which are no longer valid will lead to companies stopping issuing them/stores not accepting them. So a small saving now could result in big losses for customers in the future. I haven't used any and have no intention of doing so but it's up to individuals to decide what to do. Not preaching, just letting people know.

The thing that crossed my mind is that we had to give our email addresses to access the coupon which was emailed to us - so Palmolive have all the email addresses of those they sent it to - why haven't they done an email shot to let people know that the coupon has been pulled - it is unlikely that everyone that got a coupon would revisit the website quickly or be members of online forums to hear this news.

Evening all. Still trying to catch up but I just had my Ts delivery and can't understand the coupon bit. Coupons I used were £2.50 frozen, £2 dog food and £1 cheese. The £10 for being a new user came off and on my order confirmation it says £15.50 coupons. On my delivery sheet it says £23.50 coupons??? :D Also, 3 of the dog food had been substituted, 2 of which I returned. She pressed return 3 on her machine then realised what she'd done and said, I won't change it now. So I got 2 things of dog food, one of them free and had £2 off from coupons. Sorry, am rambling now, trying to think it out while I'm writing....

    So, £50.35 shop + £3 delivery = £53.35
    -£23.50 coupons = £29.85
    -£9 return on dog food = £20.85
    -£10 Quidco cashback = £10.85
    :j:j:j:j

    Huge thanks Karlie

Sorry, I don't know the answer but well done on such a bargain shop. I bet you wish you could have a repeat order at the same price.

We've already got 3 accounts with Mr T for the 2 of us in this household, so daren't set up another one.

But like someone said a while back. Forgot, who it was sorry!:o
It not worth doing anything stupid with the clean receipts by reusing vouchers. As that's what could cause JTD to get stopped if people abuse it.

I know someone who has and their stores is very tough on it now and asks for receipts 100% of the time and signs them 100% of the time.

So it's best to play by the rules :T and keep JTD going for all of us:T for as long as possible :)

I would have thought that as each JTD is unique it would flag up if it was scanned a second time but maybe not, I have never used one twice and I never would, I go wombling instead I like the thrill of it!

    :D

Just managed to catch up on the thread.

Went to T last night and did not find any 1p items. They did not stock the simply meals that have been glitching:(

OH is quite happy to go wombling :) last night he just picked up a reciept and put it in his pocket, when we got to the car i looked at it and had a good laugh.
The receipt listed 4 items.... 4 boxes of du*ex.
£10 per box, on offer 2 for £12......wonder if it will compare for JTD :)

Went to a different T today, still no 1p items or simply meals.
I picked up some Ech0 Falls white zinfandel. 2 different price labels in different places on the wine aisle. Was charged the higher price.

    Just remembered something else

Popped into Asda to look at the reductions and when I was going through checkout the woman in front of me spent over £100, now as she was paying ( by card) the checkout operator asked her for her postcode and then inputted it to till , not sure why and never heard of it before....
So was wondering if it was for security to check against the card or do you think they may be recording it for APG purposes???

Other than that nothing else to report lol.

Thanks again to everyone for their posts...:D

That's what I thought. Reminded me of that story with the couple who reused a clubcard voucher 10 tens of times :eek::eek:
The Tesco Clubcard voucher for £17.50 was genuine and had been sent to Nigel and Penny Ward by the supermarket.

However, they used it 62 times at self-service checkouts in seven Tesco stores. Each time it deducted £17.50 from their bill.
By the time they were arrested, the couple had effectively obtained free groceries to the value of £1,085.

That's just reminded me, a couple of weeks ago in Mr S, they had about 10 different packs of condoms, some of which were reduced from £10 to 50p. Before anyone asks, I only noticed them because of the reduced label and no, I didn't buy any even though they were a bargain.
