Evening all. Still trying to catch up but I just had my Ts delivery and can't understand the coupon bit. Coupons I used were £2.50 frozen, £2 dog food and £1 cheese. The £10 for being a new user came off and on my order confirmation it says £15.50 coupons. On my delivery sheet it says £23.50 coupons???
Also, 3 of the dog food had been substituted, 2 of which I returned. She pressed return 3 on her machine then realised what she'd done and said, I won't change it now. So I got 2 things of dog food, one of them free and had £2 off from coupons. Sorry, am rambling now, trying to think it out while I'm writing....
So, £50.35 shop + £3 delivery = £53.35
-£23.50 coupons = £29.85
-£9 return on dog food = £20.85
-£10 Quidco cashback = £10.85

Huge thanks Karlie :beer:A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist0 -

Once had them rip the bottom numbers off:eek::eek: and yesterday I had a SA try to rip the handwash coupon (£1 off one) in half:eek::eek::eek::eek: she stopped realizing it wasn't probably a good idea :rotfl::rotfl: so folded it in half.
Note however this is the first time I've done JTD + Return. Don't normally do it.
Batteries still showing as BOGOF online.

I have a feeling it will get rolled over..
My store either write on the receipt saying JTD £x.xx or else keep my receipt along with the JTD voucher. I've never had any receipts returned intact after using a JTD. I think I'll move to your neck of the woods as it sounds easier to have fun there.0 -
Batteries end their bogof today for those that didn't get them last time!:j
Weird goings on .com though, still showing as bogof even though dot com always shows tomorrow's price as you are charged on day of delivery...add to basket and no bogof!:eek::eek:
So it looks like offer definitely ends today and isn't rolling over...:T:T:T:T:T
I hope so.The BOGOF offers quite often don't work online when they're switching over a deal, so I wouldn't say that anything is definite in terms of this deal.

Agreed. See what it said tomorrow. I don't trust .com after the sausages earlier today:o0 -

do you know if the knife glitch still works as i have still have some vouchers :T
I asked on here about the knife glitch last week and was advised that there isn't one. It was a one-off when someone bought a knife for 1p as the SA only scanned their sheet of paper and didn't scan the knife. This has also happened to my sister though and she got a bread knife for 1p as the SA didn't know what he was doing.0 -

Hmm.. It depends on the SA. One back at Uni decides to make life difficult for me by asking for my clubcard on JTD vouchers or gets supervisors over for any coupon/JTD voucher I have:eek::mad: even my own JTD he checks carefully and checks the receipt, and keeps it. I don't think he actually knows what they are:p so I avoid him at all costs. Everybody else is fine.0 -
I'm looking for a bit of advice...
My DD's laptop is dying and she needs it for her uni assignments.
She doesn't really use it for much else as she has an iphone which she uses for internnet etc.
I'm thinking of treating her to a replacement but don't want to spend a fortune.
Where is the best place for a cheapie lappie?
Would anyone recommend buying one 2nd hand ...if so what should I be looking to pay?My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
But like someone said a while back. Forgot, who it was sorry!:o
It not worth doing anything stupid with the clean receipts by reusing vouchers. As that's what could cause JTD to get stopped if people abuse it.
I know someone who has and their stores is very tough on it now and asks for receipts 100% of the time and signs them 100% of the time.
So it's best to play by the rules :T and keep JTD going for all of us:T for as long as possible0
