Thank you ChelseaGirl - I'll give an update on what's in my parcel when it gets redelivered to work. I got a 'wanger' in Mr T's a few months ago when they had huge reductions on certain items but still haven't used it.

I don't know where you guys get the courage to go for DTD when it is a different product/barcode/date. I've always been told I should have read the offer ticket in detail

I tried arguing over an OOD SEL once before and got nowhere at CS. When I rang HO they said it wasn't policy to pay DTD on OOD SEL (!!! :mad: !!!) but they sent me a goodwill giftcard as the date was weeks past rather than days. They probably figured it was a safe bet that they had overcharged enough people in that time to compensate me

I couldn't believe when they told me they dont pay DTD on OOD SELs both instore and on the phone. Now I see daily success stories on here from all you guys maybe I should pluck up the courage again and refuse to leave without speaking to a manager if it comes to that (but obviously not in my local as dont want to get known)

I know of a store with yellow "special purchase" SELS for Thornton pouches at £1 that expired in March and now scan at £3. maybe I'll start there

They should have a blue board behind the CS desk, towards the bottom it states that if you are overcharged they will refund dtd. It does not give ANY exclusions. Point this out next time they try to refuse you. Can't quite remember the heading for this bit, my local long ago gave up trying to fob me off

Buy a load of large letter stamps, they are 58p (ish). I wrap my stuff in value bin liners.

Errmmmmmmmm not the last time I looked, I was helped to locate the outfit a few weeks ago by the lovely (well some are okish) 11+, I was behind the camera hence the "I managed to dodge the camera" comment
