The dog was too young, but they still sent one packet of jointcare chews and also a tube of rubber balls and a ball 'wanger' - long stick thingy with a cup shape on the end so that you can scoop the ball off the ground and throw it instead of picking it up when it's slobbery.
Thank you ChelseaGirl - I'll give an update on what's in my parcel when it gets redelivered to work. I got a 'wanger' in Mr T's a few months ago when they had huge reductions on certain items but still haven't used it.0 -
Wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that helped me track down the Jack Sparrow outfit as you can see it looked great with £shop cutlass

good night all, in bed for 10. for anyone with a useless OH, every dog has it's day...grocery challenge 9.86/600 -
I was tempted to give this a go last week but chickened out.
They have two different shapes of 600g containers which have different barcodes on them. On the £4 one the tub is spherical and the opening to the tub is at a 45 degree angle. The £10 one is the new batch and the opening is flat at the top and the front/back sides are smooth.
I decided against it as I thought they would argue that the cardboard display does not picture the £10 container. Or I can see them saying "you were not overcharged for this product, it is £10. If we had sold you the other one at £10 then you would have been overcharged and entitled to refund. If you want one at £4 then why not return the £10 tub and buy one of the other shaped tubs instead"
I don't know where you guys get the courage to go for DTD when it is a different product/barcode/date. I've always been told I should have read the offer ticket in detail
I tried arguing over an OOD SEL once before and got nowhere at CS. When I rang HO they said it wasn't policy to pay DTD on OOD SEL (!!! !!!) but they sent me a goodwill giftcard as the date was weeks past rather than days. They probably figured it was a safe bet that they had overcharged enough people in that time to compensate me
I couldn't believe when they told me they dont pay DTD on OOD SELs both instore and on the phone. Now I see daily success stories on here from all you guys maybe I should pluck up the courage again and refuse to leave without speaking to a manager if it comes to that (but obviously not in my local as dont want to get known)
I know of a store with yellow "special purchase" SELS for Thornton pouches at £1 that expired in March and now scan at £3. maybe I'll start there
They should have a blue board behind the CS desk, towards the bottom it states that if you are overcharged they will refund dtd. It does not give ANY exclusions. Point this out next time they try to refuse you. Can't quite remember the heading for this bit, my local long ago gave up trying to fob me offWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
