I am new here but had to say I know how you feel, rant its healthy.
I got attacked by a woman when I was in the park with my boys years ago. My boys were climbing trees I had climbed as a kid and so had my dad and she took offense. She started ranting and I told her none of her business next thing I knew she was spitting at me and kicking at my shins; nutter; someone called the police and by the time they got there she was gone.
I ranted quite a bit after it happened, it relieved some pressure.
:eek::eek: My goodness! That is shocking. If it had gone that far, I don't think I could have kept my cool.A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist0 -

I have searched 4 branches this week and no sign. Think they are all in the hands ( or mouths) of posters on here. Sorry HUKD!0 -
Thanks midwinter. Went to dentist yesterday and its still not healing. Have got new antibiotics and still taking painkillers but good news is the tooth next door isn't so wobbly. Must admit it was pretty hard to resist poking it with my tongue!
That stew looks mighty yummy FK and enough for all of us I hope.
They can sometimes be rather stubbornHope the new antibiotics help the healing process soon

Well done if you read all that :rotfl:
I did read it all quickly, I would have said "How dare you swear in front of my son"
Its a shame because next time you go there you'll be looking over your shoulder.
Hope you can relax tonight after your bad experience
Weather flash we just had 5 minutes of heavy sleet/rain in London & now its stopped0 -

Cold, dry conditions exacerbate (sp??!) mine. Doctor here is no help - just smiles sympathetically. Would quite like the op, but am a bit scared to ask!! Anyway, hopefully getting out has taken your mind off it and you'll have a good night's sleep eventually. All the best F_C
(I am going - honest!)
Yeah I've been thinking about enquiring about having them flushed and so forth! Sounds a bit unpleasant but I hate the feeling of having a 'cloudy' head. I know exactly what you mean about docs, just had the same with Mum's consultant (we both suffer very badly, she's in bed 3 or 4 days per week) Though to be fair we have been through literally every medication going
:o:o
As soon as I got up to go out the heavens opened! Luckily the dogs hate the rain tooPampered pooches that they are :rotfl:

There are some pics on my facebook of my "larger" days.
Right now, I'm not comfortable in my clothes. I am way too MSE to go out and buy more clothes because none of mine fit, unless its the other way round :rotfl:
I have a friend who's husband is a dentist, and she's always eating sweets in work. I think she does it to annoy him :rotfl::rotfl:
:rotfl: I would soooo eat sweets just to annoy him aswell!
I can really identify with not wanting to buy new clothes when you're feeling bigger....and all the 'fat' days roll into one!:p:o A few years back I gained nearly 3 stone in about 6 months! Bearing in mind I'm under 5 foot, I felt like a HEFFER!!! Obviously I had to buy a few bits of clothing but once they started to get tight, there was no way I was going up to the next size! Totally different story if you're going the other way though, I've lost count of the amount of motivational clothes I bought to inspire me to lose the weight! I didn't like any of it by the time I fitted into them so haven't worn any of it:p:p

I dont see how its healthy to eat nothing but protein, and where does the rest of your nutrition come from? IMO, its ok for a kick start but i dont think its sustainable long term. Just my personal opinion though
I completely agree with your opinion. I think exactly the same of the Atkins diet! When the founder was himself obese and died so young, you have to question whether it's really the best option!'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
I'm like that about Scotch eggs, I'll eat the Scotch but not the egg, I don't like the white unless its mixed in
Ohhhhhhh scotch eggs, I dont like the scotch or the egg, so can't say I'm overly fond of them, but then again I am the worlds fussiest eater0 -
hi all,
i have been to the bank today and have received my mortgage promise. I am so giddy, this is my first flat... yippee:j
i have promptly come home and written a letter to HMRC for my uniform rebate. I wear a hi vis freezer jacket as i work with food so hopefully i'll get a few quid.:D
By the way, i've been using the food focus website for the last 3 weeks. I have lost 6lbs. You are only recomended to lose 2lb a week. I am dead chuffed with it as it is a food diary so seems to be changing my mindset. I am hoping that i will lose enough so that my blood pressure is normal.
Now i am wondering if i should drive to t's. I drink wine spritzers these days:rotfl::rotfl:grocery challenge 9.86/600
