    Get a room :eek::rotfl::rotfl:
A huuuuuge thank you to Purdita for the wine list yesterday (on the old thread). Only had time to pop into a small Express not expecting anything, and found some Chardonnay (Kumala) with an ood sel and got paid to take it away. :)

I haven't been to T's (and don't drink wine anyway), but I'm pleased you found some :T:T:T

Has anyone here tried Graze boxes?

I would love to try one as you get the first one free but I'm really wary of giving my card details and then having trouble cancelling,or worse - forgetting to cancel!

I'd love to know what somebody thinks of them..they look so nice but I'm not paying £3.79 lol!

    :D

I've had them when they did a free trial then half price for a couple of weeks
I must say they are absolutely delicious.....especially the strawberries and cream. But they are pricey and there's not much in them!
I cancelled no probs at all. If they were half price all the time, I might be tempted to buy them every week as a treat
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

I used to go through tins and tins of Value baked beans, I loved them and they were the lowest in calories of all beans (105kcal for 1/2 can) but the packaging was changed about a year ago (maybe more?! :o) and the calories shot up to over 150 for 1/2 can!!:( I was puzzled because they taste exactly the same so wondering whether they were always that high and it was a mistake!

They could well have always been 150 cals. Sainsbury's value ready to bake baguettes had the same ingredients and weight as the normal kind, but according to the pack had about 1/3rd of the cals. I contacted them about this as it didn't make sense. They both contained wheatflour as the 1st ingredient and proportionately there could only be a few cals difference max.
They replied that it was a mistake and the packaging changed soon after. It was years ago, but I wish I'd stood up for some kind of reward as Trading Standards might have had a field day.

    It's only a game

Haven't been there but we took the boys when they were younger to a place nearer to Gt Yarmouth. Let me check it out then I'll give you details.

We have been it is a great day out for say under 10's
but it is miserable if it is raining as it is all outside.
Check vouchers in local papers or on flyers - I'm sure we got something off - but maybe we used T's CC vouchers.
Also if yours are little Dinosaur world is good - again if it is fine.
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

    Evening all!

Just about to start catching up with the thread (including the old one!). Will sort out my tea at the same time. Luckily, I haven't got any work to do because I passed finals.

    :cool::D:cool:

    Lala says big congratulations:T:T
Thanks to decay and wombleshopper for your replies re my car - I spoke to the police and they weren't able to tell me if it had been reported as being involved in an accident as it would be dealt with by Southamptom rather than Manchester but I spoke to my insurance company again and spoke to a really nice guy who advised that they would be arguing misindentification and he assured me that i didn't need to worry :o so hopefully it will be sorted soon!

Mrs Grohl yes I shop at 5t*ckp*rt too - I will look out for your raspberry blowing DD and I will be the one with LO's shouting loudly for no reason whatsoever and trying to high five other shoppers!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Please can anyone tell me how to get a little avatar picture......I have been spurred on by seeing nannylala has one!!! nannylala - you are doing a grand job......nikilala (hope you are doing ok) you are very lucky...I can't imagine my mum would do this for me and I dread to think what her posts would be like....I have great difficulty just deciphering her text messages!! Good to hear you will be sticking around nannylala :)

PS - just seen the time....I told myself I would just have a quick half hour catch up....that was at 10.00pm!!

I told Lala I wanted a picture by my name so as I would recognise when I was posting:oLala very patiently talked me through what to do.After getting it all sorted I then decided the picture resembled an old lady (which I am but dont like to admit) trouble is I cant remember how to change it now,but it is a lovely hydrangea:rotfl::rotfl:

Hi, Just catching up and noticed what you posted here.
My OH got a plastic cover for his leg when he had dressing on a while ago.
It has a rubber seal on it.
Here is one that for an arm
    http://www.physiosupplies.com/fitness/Shower-Bandage-Arm-Covers-Protector.html
Wondered whether it would be any good for Lala.
Lala's should be able to get one on prescription from GP or even the hospital. Its worth asking/finding out.
Sorry if it's been mentioned already.

Thankyou for that we go to the doctors on tuesday and can ask then:)

OldBear not to sure what you are implying about being placed betw, een Lala and QPR:eek::eek::eek:but Lala found it funny when I showed her;)
Pleased to say Lala in good spirits today not sure if its the new hairstyle I have created.Took the plaits out this morning she now looks just like a blonde Kate bush(I keep asking her to sing wuthering heights:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:but she is not impressed.)
She manage to put a bit of mascara on with her good hand so this has also made her feel better(she did poke herself in the eye a few times)
Cooked alovely lamb stew and made a nice multigrain loaf out of you know what. She has lost some weight since I have been looking after her as she cannot open anything herself and has to ask if she wants a bag of crisps or anything. She tried to open a box of thortons the other night when I had gone home and had to give up;)

    Hi all,
Just been going through my purse and reallised I have been wombling for a year and not even realised it, think I must be madam shoulie (not sure on spelling). I pick up odd receipts on the counter every time I go to Costa (its my naughty treat) and then every few weeks get the girls to put the receipt points on my card just say I forgot to use it which I do now and again. Its been great lately as they have had double point offers on.
I thought I was new at this money saving stuff; I thought that but its amazing the things I have always done that are part of it. Think I might change my screen name to Posh Womble, as M&S woopsies are my second largest money saving habit. Unless anyone else can come up with a better name?

    hi all,

i have been to the bank today and have received my mortgage promise. I am so giddy, this is my first flat... yippee:j

i have promptly come home and written a letter to HMRC for my uniform rebate. I wear a hi vis freezer jacket as i work with food so hopefully i'll get a few quid.:D

By the way, i've been using the food focus website for the last 3 weeks. I have lost 6lbs. You are only recomended to lose 2lb a week. I am dead chuffed with it as it is a food diary so seems to be changing my mindset. I am hoping that i will lose enough so that my blood pressure is normal.

Now i am wondering if i should drive to t's. I drink wine spritzers these days:rotfl::rotfl:

Gosh you are having a successful time at the moment, long may it continue
