Wrap up warm, that wind is bitter!

I am almost a stone heavier than I was 6 months ago, so really need to pull it back again. People in work do that stupid Dukan diet and then wonder why they are always so tired *sigh*

The difference in calories in some stuff is shocking

Oh I sooo don't fancy the dukan diet!

I try and do my best with watching what I eat but I have SUCH a sweet tooth it's unreal. I think I've said before, I'd be quite happy to ditch all savoury food forever and just live on sweet stuff  My dentist would be pleased! :rotfl::rotfl::p

Well I didn't know you before but you certainly don't look like you need to lose weight! But I think no matter how many people tell you that, if you're not happy in yourself and as long as what you're doing is healthy then go for it :D (and I use 'you' in the plural sense, myself included!)

Mmmm that's one thing about being anorexic; I know or can pretty accurately guess the calories in everything! It works well when you're restricting your diet and aiming to lose weight but when you just want to think 'stuff it' it can leave you feeling very guilty! :o Coming from someone who thinks 'stuff it' several times a day! :rotfl:

Thanks Mrs Jagger :AYeah I often find it's the change in climate that really affects my head. Sorry to hear you suffer with similar probs :( Unfortunately yes sleep is the best medicine but when I'm this bad I can't lie down! Doh! :(

Yeah - I really identify with not being able to lie down, or stay still - I spent years being told it was cluster headaches because of this; wasn't til we lived in NZ and I was in bed every 2 weeks for at least 3 days that the doc said it was sinus. Cold, dry conditions exacerbate (sp??!) mine. Doctor here is no help - just smiles sympathetically. Would quite like the op, but am a bit scared to ask!! Anyway, hopefully getting out has taken your mind off it and you'll have a good night's sleep eventually. All the best F_C

    (I am going - honest!)

    *blushes*

There are some pics on my facebook of my "larger" days.

Right now, I'm not comfortable in my clothes. I am way too MSE to go out and buy more clothes because none of mine fit, unless its the other way round :rotfl:

I have a friend who's husband is a dentist, and she's always eating sweets in work. I think she does it to annoy him :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh i did the dukan diet, did enjoy it but I train to hard at the gym and couldnt find the time to eat with my son. So I felt really run down and got really sick. My immune system went down. But honestly its the best diet ive been on. If i didnt exercise the way i do.I didnt feel hungry and it wasnt hard to think of what to eat. No counting calories. Im still on it now but i have my odd bread and fruit. Oh and these purple bars!!!

someone else in work tired it for 5 days, after she had been off work really quite ill for a month. I dont see how its healthy to eat nothing but protein, and where does the rest of your nutrition come from? IMO, its ok for a kick start but i dont think its sustainable long term. Just my personal opinion though
